I've been listening to Transatlanticism and I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. Rejected by another femanon *sigh*.
I'm currently listening to the black/folk/doom metal band Primordial. A lot of their stuff has this sort of defeated mournful sound, but as soon as you get used to that, they hit you with a triumphant ode to victory. I recommend everyone here listen to their album To The Nameless Dead. Absolutely amazing album.
