I could post the 2014 equivalent of Pet Sounds and the asshats in these threads would be too into their own self-promotion to even give it a listen or pay attention to anybody else's music.
These threads are fucking dead. bandcamp threads used to be great, they were the escape from soundcloud threads (which were previously eradicated of all sincerity and quality). Now, there's basically nothing left. DAW's and production equipment are too readily available. It's a good thing in one respect, but it also means that there's a bunch of talentless retards making "music" and posting it all over the internet, clouding the definition of music itself.

I think it's a very simplistic view to think anyone here is posting in these threads in an attempt to get famous, people here make music for the joy of creation, if all you want to do is collect listens like it's fucking facebook, get a soundcloud and throw your integrity out of the window.
