Im playing with renoise because my favourite demigod is ASC and its what he uses.
By phat synths i meant those really strong sawtooth leads in triangulation.
And by not being in control, what i mean is a guitar player, plays a note and knows exactly what he is going to hear.... us electronic types keep twisting knobs until we find something that works. Im not saying its random but its pretty indeterminate. Thinking of a sound and then making that exact sound is in my opinion very difficult and time consuming.
