The Obscurometer pisses me off, because it's not representative of a band's actual obscurity, it's representative of a very particular demographic and community. It forever gives me a bad score of my obscurity for the SOLE reason that between ages 17 and 18 (my Radiohead fanboy years), I accumulated SIGNIFICANTLY more Radiohead plays than any other artist could come close to.
Radiohead are a very popular band, but no way NEAR as mainstream as this site would have you believe. For comparison purposes:
