Anyone work at a record store?
Do you get to decide what plays over the radio? If so what do you usually play?

>Anyone work at a record store?
yes I used to work in a record store, OP.
The most fun part of working there is destroying old music nobody wants anymore. I've destroyed countless vinyls, CDs, tapes, you name it of every genre. I probably destroyed priceless stuff but I really like breaking stuff so who cares. I once used a box of old jazz and blues 78 RPMs from the 20s or 30s to a skeet shoot. To this day, the most fun I have ever had but no OP I didn't decide what's played over the radio.

Greatest record store on Earth. If anyone here works for Amoeba in SF or knows someone who does, please make sure that it never ever closes, thanks.

SF maybe. Amoeba LA is like the worst place ever. Their collection is downright insulting, unless you're buying new, but for collectors it's nothing short of a garbage heap. It's all about The Last Bookstore, Mount Analog, Gimme Gimme, and Blue Bag. Oh and I like Freak Beat too
