I kind of agree with him though. I think that if you post an honest opinion about only a couple albums it helps the artist and potental listeners out. Just by saying "rec" you aren't really describing why you like it and it feels like you're taking the easy way out. I hope i'm not coming off as a dick it's just how i feel about the situation.

I see what you're saying but I feel it's kind of lazy. The only part i could it see it as a beneficial route would be if an artist has already told another artist how much they enjoy the album and have given them tips or praise and they would like to rec the artist to other people. But I still think that maybe even giving a little description about the artist you are reccing would help other listeners have another point of view on another artists music
