Not really a concrete criticism. I mean, I know opinions on music is subjective, but "boring" tells me nothing about the music and more about the listener, as it is based on you, as a subject, who experiences boredom when listening to the album.
Overall the timbres and textures of the synths are much more odd and compelling on R+7 and each motif comes back to an overarching theme and philosophy, making it a much more thought-out and cohesive experience. The way he just took these very formulaic, uncanny. and plastic sounds and shaped them until they sounded completely alien - beautiful at times, even - is completely brilliant. I feel like with GoD he didn't take a big enough step away from this - he's still playing with our preconceived ideas about the contexts of certain sounds, but he already did that on R+7, except this go around it was based on sounds that are much more "flat" timbre wise while also not fully deconstructing the big room sound. Often times it sounds TOO similar to the work and genres he's trying to remove from the current popular musical framework and decontextualize.
