I'm pretty stuck on this song in progress. Can someone give me a critique and maybe some suggestions?
I like the first section (about the first 30 seconds), but every chord change I attempt seems to derail the dreamy feel into another kind of thing like baroque. I'm wanting to flesh out the first section into a a full song. Criticism please

I can't really say the second chord progression didn't fit, but I didn't really get as much of a dreamy atmosphere from this
Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to hear some of the sounds be more enveloping and full-bodied, because the mix seems to lack quite a bit of punch at the moment. Still, stick with it and see where it takes you!

Hey man, chill. There are days were the discussions are actually exist. As for your track test - that chord progression is weird a bit. I don't know, it jumps a between between one and the other. I'd might be me. Maybe change a synth configuration or do it in a slower tempo. A key change could be helpful too. Also, the track is a bit "hollow" if you know what I mean. It's too empty but since it's just a test then maybe I'm over thinking a bit. And yeah, "shitty ambient albums" maker greets you!

This is hell of a fun album! Really nice structures, great sounds coming out of your project. A minor issue - I can't really quite capture it but the mixing could be better. Somehow. Thanks for the feedback. I think you are right about the ''jump'' but its hard for me to pinpoint what it is, as it is on time and in the same key. I'll work on it and try a key change as you mentioned. Interesting that it may be too empty, if you look at my past work you may see that I tended to over-clutter things. It's still really rough, so I have no problem implementing these changes. Thank you
