Bandcamp Thread: Talk-About-Somebody-Else Edition.
In addition to posting yourself, post another Bandcamp-thread-er that never posts often but is worthy of recognition and talk about their music a bit. Maybe we can change up some of the monotony of most threads.

While there are tons of people that are super awesome that I could talk about, I'm gonna plug The Baddest Beams. He uses the cheesiness of synths to a huge advantage. The synths, guitars, and his voice make you feel nostalgic, but in a different way than Boards of Canada would. It reminds me a little bit of They Might Be Giants' "Experimental Film" in sound and the aged sound that reminds me of the early internet HSR. The Baddest Beams does a fantastic job of transitioning and going through a variety of moods. It's just an all-around fantastic EP.

>Experimental Noise Rock, Drone Metal/Ambient/Instrumental Hip Hop
released my first full length album on Halloween, it's full of noise rock, but it also includes drone metal/ambient/instrumental hip hop tracks thrown in for variety. The free download also comes with some liner notes I made.

Also released a new EP (I just really like putting out stuff) consisting of very loud songs heavily influenced by Dreamcrusher (check out his EP I linked below as well)

I always like to know where the artists on here are from. Do you guys ever perform live? Or do yo support your local scene?
>>60488573
>Do you guys ever perform live?
Nah but I really want to.
>do yo support your local scene?
I've seen a few local bands live here (mainly because I met the members at shows and told them I'd go see them). There's some cool stuff out here
:)
>>60486862

I've been waiting for this for months holy shit

lucky!
>>60488933
Ah the music scene here's not all it's cracked up to be
Still, I hope I can find a good venue and play a show or two around here (although I doubt I will ever get such an opportunity)
:)
>>60488981
certainly better than the Western New York scene. And why do you think so?
>>60489229
It's just really homogenized in my experience. There's so many indie and singer-songwriter acts that the market is oversaturated
That being said, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. We have some electronic scene here, which I could try to break into, but it's certainly smaller than the aforementioned ones.
>>60489261
damn i'd kill for a couple indie bands around here
its all punk, hardcore, metalcore. just various metal i guess. A few rock bands here and there though

Listening to this makes me wanna strip down naked, paint my body white and wear lipstick then stare at myself in the mirror questioning whether my sanity exists.

Wow your discography is quite impressive! In your featured track it really reminded me of a gritty 80's city alley. If I had to give my two cents it'd be that the percussion could've been tampered with to be more heavy hitting eq wise.
Besides that top job! Not really my style but I can appreciate it
