ITT: Albums that made you go "HOLY FUCK WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD"
>>65392746
i officially declare this album /r/indieheads core
>>65392821
I officially declare you a plebe.
desu
I'm gonna try something new with this:
There will be no rolling for track titles, album titles, cover, or band name. Instead:
>Track will be named whatever you call it when you upload it
>Band name will be voted on
>Album art is pic related
>Album name is "/mu/ presents noisehop"
>All submissions will be accepted, as long as it's an original noisehop track
>We...

Interesting idea. Bump.
Gonna post something as soon as I'm off work
>>65392660
This is a great album.
Literally Fedora: The Band
>DUDE REPUBLICANS LMAO
theyre so edgy and original
FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME
They're going to try and assassinate Trump
How the heck do I find people to start a band with? It feels like there's no one around me who's into music, and the ones who are like shitty indie music. How do I meet people to start a band with?
Create the music YOU enjoy creating without band members FIRSTLY them like minded people will start to orbit. That is of course if you promote yourself through social media. Watch out for overzealous fans if you start to gain a following. Theyll drain you.
Good luck
>shitty indie music
You'd better actually listen to good music and not fucking anime soundtracks
>>65392333
I listen to punk rock and post-hardcore, but anime soundtracks are still better than indie.
How much does /mu/ tip their d.j.?
if ironic 4/10
>tipping djs
no. you provide me the service you owe, and i repay you simply my presence and listening. you deserve nothing more for doing your job.
>>65392221
no not really. they could phone in their performance and get paid still. you pay them a tip for going above and beyond what was required of them.
Chart thread. None up currently so here we go. Recs and general roasting of other people's tastes. I'd really love if anything knew of something that was in any way comparable to either Velocity: Design: Comfort or Constance.
>>65392121
nice fucking taste
anamai - sallows
health - death magic
san fermin - s/t
also my whole chart
>>65392121
Gr8 taste, OP. I don't have a chart, but there'd be plenty of overlap if I did. If you like V:D:C, check out Endless Summer by Fennesz. Not as poppy, but just as glitchy.
Also, have you heard any of Bardo Pond? Seems up your alley.
>Yeah, it was nasty, in-fighting culture. The music board of 4chan, I owe them something, because that was the first place where my music started getting circulated a lot. But after a certain point it was getting enough circulation on there that people who didn’t like my music thought that it was being circulated way too much. They started throwing my name up and saying that all the Car Seat Headrest posts were from me, that I was just viral-ing it. It frustrated me, because I’ve never posted on that site in my life. It was this inane thing going on...

>never posted on that site in my life
This site is honestly a huge shithole. I've been posting here for 10 years now and I just can't muster the energy anymore. I used to love arguing with idiots here about music but eventually you realize that the majority of the posters here are actual children and teenagers. What's the point? Dank memes, right? xD
Been listening to a lot of stereolab lately, what do you think is their best album?
>>65391917
My personal favorite is Emperor Tomato Ketchup, but people seem to not like it very much on here.
Their best is probably Transient Random but I've got a soft spot for Peng! and Sound Dust
>>65391934
That's a great one too, honestly they don't really have any bad albums
>>65391934
It's just so bland compared to their other stuff

>band has two Björks
Byork thread?
Just watched Dancer in the Dark last night. Not the best choice of movie to watch before going to bed. :(
Music was good, though. My favorite song was "I've seen it all".
>>65391571
I just watched it recently too. That last scene was fucking heartbreaking, man. I also liked I've Seen it All but In The Musicals was really good too.
>ywn help blind bjork
Scatterheart was also a great song.
Yo /mu/ I've made some cool music how do I get famous with that I'm new to this internet stuff and I literally don't know any people besides myself
I might be some kind of a genius or some shit
Where the pussy at

>>65391316
