Thoughts? I like it.

SOTY desu
I thought it was shit but when I found out they're /mu/core I thought it was great
It's pretty meh. Vocals are annoying, cool bass but get repetitive quick and it's too long.
Is this their best?
>>66398623
Right after Kid A, yes it is. Maybe even tied for first place.
>>66398623
I'm listening to it for the fast time right now, I like it a lot. The only other Radiohead albums I've are Pablo Honey, OK Computer and Kid A. Kid A's my fav so far, but In Rainbows might surpass it. OK Computer is shit.
I haven't heard all their albums yet, but this is better than their hyped ones
Prove me wrong
>>66398622
prove your subjective taste wrong?

Literally my favourite band.

Are the deftones the best Metal band of the last 20 years?
The whole album of Around The Fur, Root and even the song pink maggit means they have to at least be in the top 5.
Pink Maggit - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8wjOpxaNUo
Root - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgIb0ItyeiA
Dai The Flu - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxhuOk3b07I
Around The Fur - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hv0rV0N3SrY
Prove me wrong
I think they're definitely one of the most consistent modern bands. They don't have a bad album, a few are great.
You'll get a lot of detractors on here saying that they're a nu metal band, which isn't wrong, but it's not a respectable criticism.
yep they're fantastic.
Also, check out S.C.I.E.N.C.E by Incubus
>>66399983
That and Around the Fur are the best nu metal albums IMO.
Does /mu/ like The Death Grips?
>>66398327
actually this isn't a picture of death grips
>>66398344
holy fucking shit dude
actually this isn't a picture of death grips
Stop trying to put a fucking numerical rating on art you fucking stupid fucks you are ruining music who fucking cares what some shit head critic rates an album
It's all fucking stupid
Giving an album a fucking rating implies there is a fuckig objectife standard and benchmark by which the rating makes sense. It doesn't because there is no fucking objective standard!!!!
Stop fucking giving ratings to albums now!!!! If you're going to critique an album just say how it makes you feel the reasons you liked it and the reasons you didn't leave...

tl;dr 2/10 post

I kind of agree.
When music feels good to listen to, it's not one dimensional. It's kind of like looking at a pleasing colour; not just good or bad, but light or dark, saturated or washed out, and a certain hue.
>>66398306
Exactly dude!!
Is there any point to making "weird" music anymore? Hasn't everything been recorded and sequenced beyond what people ever expected?
Why shouldn't I just record yet another generic pop album?
Answer me you dweebs.
>>66398379
The answed is too painful
You could be the first person to commit suicide while recording an album
Whats the best band you avoided because they had a shitty name? These guys are blowing me away right now
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be4tZGLhnyc
>>66398125
None because I'm smart enough to know not to assume a band's quality based on their name. Also how is Twin Peaks a shitty name? Because they named their band after a TV show?
>>66398125
I never thought they were that shitty. I am going to see them tomorrow at Pitchfork. Hope they are as good as this.
>>66398177
to be fair, going so far as to name your band after one of the worst and most overrated tv shows out there is a pretty blatant show of tastelessness, so it's not so hard to assume the music wouldn't be good either.
How do I write music like him?
stop making these threads
fuck
the entire catalog is garbage today

You have to be a white supremacist.

Where did the Noah "One Man Clan" Lennox meme come from? I've seen it, but I don't know the backstory.
anyone else here hoping she buries Calvin like she did kate perry ?
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/entertainthis/2016/07/13/calvin-harris-slams-ex-taylor-swift-twitter-trying-bury-him-like-katy-perry/87030950/
I want to bury my face into Katy Perry's butt
i like how every acts like tay tay doesn't write her own songs, and here she is writing for rihanna and her x-bf
Is Taylor Swift secretly behind more songs?
Given how rare it is for Swift to write songs for other artists, the writing credit could indicate more new music on the way from the pop star, who has released an album every two years since 2006. She has maintained a particular pattern, with her albums being debuted in the fall of those release years, typically the last week of October. In April, just a couple weeks before "This Is What You Came For"...

It sure is piqued my curiosity.
It's also perfect expression of how calming wonderful the game felt before it became the staple diet of every mildly autistic 8-year-old.
