Now that the dust has settled, can we agree this was a very decent album?
imo on par with in rainbows.
What's the best Drum Corps, and why is it the crossmen?
Literally get this shit off of /mu/
DCI is just a bunch of morons trying to make cool people like me look like shit because I didn't shill out a bunch of money to do it, fucking Bernie supporting cuck college students who can't play instruments for shit.
What's the album that's just really surprised you recently /mu/
NO FUCKING /MU/CORE ALLOWED
>Self titled album
>Isn't first album
>album is titled "s/t"
He made the Red Hot Chili Peppers good
Tonight I realized I like Taylor Swift. I've dropped the old elitists that scoffed at top-40. For those that have already reached this revelation, where do I from here?
what /mu/ think bout this nigga?
After revisiting TLOP I find it become hard to rank with the rest of his discography. But I also find my rankings of all Kanye albums ever changing and damn near impossible to make concrete. Each album has a different sound and subject matter, but this is what makes him great artist. He's so difficult to understand, but i guess that makes him a creative genius. Enough of this talk, help me rank these /mu. Here are mine at the moment
2. Late Registration
4. College Dropout
5. 808s and Heartbreak

MBDTF at 1 and LR at 2 have gotta be fuckin obligatory. Any other albums in those places would be impossible. The rest of the positions are basically toss ups. They're all comparably good.
You can say what you want about the guy, but he is consistent as fuck in quality.
What does he listen to ?
Hi friends, this is a thread for experimental music discussion. To clarify: Noise, drone, electroacoustic, free improvisation, futurism, indeterminacy, musique concrete, sound collage, and all that good stuff.
What have you been listening to? What have you been making? Movie and literature recommendations, concert experiences, gear, etc. are all welcome
I don't really understand the obsession with people pretending every single thing that comes from onkyo or free improv or other artists is 10/10. It's like they don't care about the music and just want to try and look cool for liking something off kilter or that they identify with.
also Riley, Reich, or Glass?
Hey a different person made the thread this time! Anyway I like good morning good night but I don't know much onkyo or lowercase in general. I had sort of trouble wrapping my head around it at first due to all the apparent silence. But I think it makes for good background music at least. I do want to just explore the genre more though
5x5 thread (lesser XxXs need not apply)
rate rec assume stuff.. i dont know, what their friends re like or where they spend time or something
animal liberation by peter singer. i might stop though because it seems sort of dry and dated. I dont feel very engaged in it because i alredy know our society doesnt treat animals very well. Im considering reading something on psychology or more on history instead. hbu? reading anything good?
