This picture makes me so upset.
I have an entire folder of Advice Thom Yorkes that I made years ago.
Is it bad that I've already listened to this many more times than I've ever listened to To Be Kind?
>>66417194
Don't tell it. It might get jealous.
Honestly why is that possibly a bad thing?
>>66417215
I dunno, everyone thinks that Tbk is better. But here's the truth:
TBK:AUUUUUUUUUUAUUAUAUAUAUAUAUAUAIAIAIUiiiaAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUGH
TGM:aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.......
And I just think aaaaaahhh... is easier to listen to.
To Be Kind > The Glowing Man > The Seer > My Father

Why not even one person knows the meaning of experimental and then some go as far as to say that dg or clipping are experimental which are NOT.
>>66417017
experimental has a less extreme meaning in modern vernacular. It usually just means fusing existing ideas together. Avant garde is where the real weird shit happens
>>66417061
modern vernacular is retarded then
DG aren't rlly hip hop tho. Not by traditional standards at least. I think that label is just ascribed to them b/c of MC Ride's vocal style & race. I think of them more in the context of something like black metal with a more electronic approach and free form non-melodic vocals.
>band changes their musical style from one album to the next one
>it's bad or mediocore and they never change back to the original roots

Andrew Jackson Jihad is a perfect example of this.
>They Don't Know
what did he mean by this?
>he doesn't know
He's looking away from the sunlight, a metaphor for being fragile and hiding his face from the crowds and public view that are looking towards him, but he's looking towards the person experiencing his music, letting the person to be viewing the light, empowering them through his music.
Through his music, you know, but they don't know.

heavy metal groups that write songs about World War I and II that often have a pseudo-Metallica feel to them usually accompanied by a blues-ballad-style piano whose lead singer has a gruff voice.

Is it possible to make decent synthwave if you're a poorfag? I've only done some basic research and to my uneducated eye it doesn't seem like something I could do affordably. Feel free to make fun of my ignorance or whatever.
Let me ask a broader question. What equipment do I need to make synthwave? Besides a synth and waves.
As someone who makes synthwave. I can say it all depends on the software you use. I use high end vsts because I'm lazy and they're easy to use. But you can probably make pretty good stuff with free vsts. If you're willing to put the time in to figure it out. But hey that's just my opinion
>>66417097
I'm just doing this for the fun of it. I also don't have a lot of cash right now so I'll make due with what I can get for cheap or free. I figured better gear would generally make it easier to get the sound you like but having cheaper gear would just make you have to work harder for the sound.
How does someone play a riff and sing at the same time?
By not having a mental disability.
Can you not walk and chew gum at the same time either?
If you play guitar everyday for about 5-6 years, eventually you just wake up being able to do it. Its the weirdest thing.
You don't just know how to do it off the bat. Fucking practice. At first you'll have to play it really slow and you'll make weird mouth sounds instead of words, but that's the first step in getting good.
