Also UGK and 3 6 Mafia if we're staying in this scene.
>>65626285
if Aquemini blew you away you clearly haven't explored hip hop in any way shape or form
try danny brown xxx
Is this his most clever album?
Ziggy is probably the only one that rivals in concept
The idea that you can turn your incoming death into an album is one of the most amazing artistic statements I've ever seen. Whether or not you think it's his best album or even good (it's top 5 Bowie for me but Low is GOAT) it's one of boldest concepts for an album ever. Man went out on goddamn top.
Call me a pleb but I honestly couldn't get through the first track, even with repeated listens.
its just bad
I'm in a shit mood, I want some extremely emotional music to actually calm me down because I'm afraid it could get worse
And I'm not talking averagely sad albums like For Emma or Hospice or Wide Awake and It's Morning, but much more heavy and instrumentally soothing yet self destructive
Pic pretty related

So to him is anything that isn't experimental or avant-garde 'easy listening'?
>>65625806
idk he seems to like a lot of shoegaze so probably not
A lot of his 9s are not experimental in any way shape or form.
He likes slowcore for god sake, I love the genre but experimental it is not.
>>65625806
Don't forget noise
post 'em if ya got 'em
should i make a byrds flowchart or an rem one, which do y'all prefer?
>>65625781
why would you start with let it be
>>65625807

and Byrds definitely, been meaning to get into them
>>65625781
The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as “the greatest or most significant or most influential” rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular...

>The Rolling Stones

Almost all of those albums have been deeply seated in music culture of their own respective communities, so I doubt things will be removed any time soon. If anything it might get longer.
Also Tago Mago>Future Days
>>65625602
Does Hatful of Hollow even qualify?
