Kevin Drummond - Sheet Hellish Miasma
Accept no whiny, bullshit, waaah no gf substitutes
Anyone on /mu/ seen them live before.
Would it be weird if I went to a show by myself? Swans aren't exactly a band that you can bring friends who aren't fans along to see.
Also are earplugs really necessary?
I plan on seeing them this September in Hollywood. Before then, I want to buy a pair of musician earplugs, that way I have them for the show and any other show I go to.
>>65644829
why would going by yourself be weird? have you never seen a movie on your own? do you not listen to albums on your own?
going to concerts alone isn't as bad as you'd think, especially with something like swans. I saw neurosis live alone, it was great.
I find earplugs to be too bassy and no earplugs to be too loud, which is why I usually roll up a piece of toilet paper and put in my ears. it lowers the volume just the right ammount for me without affecting the bass/treble too much.
WHO HYPE HERE?
>>65644803
More like Nick Cave and the Bad Music
>getting hyped about an album about his dead kid
so glad his son died so finally he had some inspiration
his last albums have been empty
Wtf is this gay shit? This is by far the worst album that has been recommended to me by the board. Seriously, it sounds like some gay shit a school shooter r9k faggot would listen to. If you like this kill yourself

Musicians of /mu/, tell us about your first show in front of an audience.
How did it went? How good or bad did you play?
I went full GG at my first gig. Got beat up and kicked out.
Highschool talent show and got a standing ovation after I played Liszt
>>65644256
It went well, we had been practicing for some time. It was a halloween gig so we did some creepy theatrics and weird stuff, it was fun. The crowd liked the louder songs and was screamed a lot but seemed confused by the more experimental stuff
Word has it this leaked over on Soulseek?
Just saw that, can't find it though?
?
I'm not sure, but someone upload to zippy please if they have it.
How's the music scene in your area?
I've been to a couple great ambient shows but all the others have been absolute trash:

This is fucking hilarious.
All underground music is garbage, get tickets to go to real shows.
>>65644102
With you on that, I'm seeing both Tame Impala and At The Drive-In this week.
ATDI is going to be fucking lit.
south florida here.
full of soundcloud rappers. they try to put on shows at randon clubs and such every month of so. they all suck, and only one has made it to a somewhat known level (Wifisfuneral , i havent listened to him but i assume he's better than the rest of the rappers here).
aside from those shitty rappers, the music scene here is nonexistent.
