Which one should i check out? Idk the difference
brian wilsons version is finished, so imo listen to that. it remains very faithful to the smile sessions, and the tracks on the brian version flow together better. the sessions is almost as great, only not there quite bc its not finished. They both are mind blowing and so ahead of their time, but i reccomend the brian version.
Be honest, is this album a disappointment? I listened to "When Will I Return?" a few times but it genuinely isn't good. Should I waste 2 hours or will I be pleasantly surprised?
Album titles you'd name your child
i'll start with an easy one
I was planning on partying in Montreal this summer anyway and Mastodon is one of my favorite bands. Dont really care for any of the others except for a little Breaking Benjamin but I would probably still like them while drunk.
Anyways I have never been to a big music festival like this and I was wondering if /mu/ thinks it would be fun to go by myself ( I dont have any friends interested in Metal or travelling to Montreal )
>FFDP and Disturbed headlining
At least you can leave early.
Anyway getting to see Volbeat, Mastodon, KSE, Blind Guardian, Carcass, Fear Factory, and Animals As Leaders in the same show would be awesome. I would go.
post the weirdest albums you know
starting with these fuckers
ITT: Album with litteraly no bad song
>I only read tabs
>yeah I can play piano
>only plays uninverted triad chords
Post your favorite album, others guess personality.
What's /mu/'s opinion on D'angelo?
Listened to Voodoo yesterday for the first time and I can't stop listening to it, so fucking good
>Bonus tracks are on the same disc as the album
>there are faggots and plebs on /mu/ who don't collect limited pressings of records and cds that have bonus tracks
>bonus tracks are on a set of musical toothbrushes which have motion sensors in them so the only time you can listen to them is when you brush your teeth
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE KING OF /MU/!!!
Are there any good rappers out there who are anti-violence, anti-drug (or at least not promoters of such degeneracy), anti-misogyny, etc.?
