It just has this simplistic childish sound I can never get over
All I can bear is hip hop
Most mainstream metal, pop and rock have this tacky sound that just doesn't sound attractive
It's so distinct that you just know what decade it's from just by listening to the melody and not focusing on the sound of the instruments
You are false-flagging in order to make people hate 80s rock.
And /mu/ will take the bait. Not so much because they will believe that you aren't false-flagging, but because they're looking for any excuse they can get to express their distaste for 80s rock.
>DUDE DISTORTION LMAO
>DUDE ARPEGGIOS LMAO
Has there been a more over rated bassist?
Time for jazz general! What were you listening recently?
What are your favourite jazz releases from 2016?
Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids - We Be All Africans and Anna Högberg Attack - Anna Högberg Attack, and today I'm gonna try the Dźwięki ukryte by Jachna / Mazurkiewicz / Buhl
or if we want to go a bit earlier
Alright, /mu/, let's throwback to the 90s back when hating niggers was cool.
You remember these dudes? Pantera was top of the board, boys - you didn't like them, that meant you were a fag.
Luckily, i'm hoping the people here appreciate good old axe playing.
What's the best and worst Over/Under episodes?
rate, rec, guess what their life will be like in 20 years time
>in 20 years time
I like that
you'll still be a bank clerk who's idea of an exciting evening is watching reruns of The L Word.
In 20 years you will be married to a qt.
In 20 years you will already have a moderately successful death metal band.
i'm glad you've been listening to vincent floyd
Post the most overrated albums of 2016 (on /mu/)
ITT: Bands/artists you really hate
For me, I hate the beatles
I've always hated the who,,,shitty drummer, stupid corney songs especially their early stuff and bad guitar solos...i think they were one of the first punk bands which makes me hate them more.
Name a band who had an entire career based on one Beatles song
Swans - I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Post what you're listening to now and people guess stuff about your life or recommend something or just call you black
Any overarching themes or anything?
there is none. as much as i love swans, these albums are usually nonsense that sounds cool and sounds cohesive. that said, it's not a bad thing that there really is no significant narrative and is just meant to sound connotatively written. gira himself has no real answer when asked about the narratives of these albums. it's usually just vague and something about the universe.
Does this help me make music?
It can but these little bastards oh my god
>ywn relive this experience in high school
