ITT: musicians who are literally you
Hi Fred
WHAT
Fred and Wes were the powerhouse that made the early 2000's not suck. We literally owe everything that's good about modern music to them.
What is /mu/'s take on the 1975?
More like the 1985 amirite

BTFO
More like pure garbage
Does /mu/ like EDM? What would you recommend?

Flume - Skin
House, Techno, Grime, Garage, Dubstep, Jungle, Electro, DnB, etc.
>>65922954
I really enjoy the You and I remix of Flume but I think everybody knows that by now. I'm looking for something new
What is /mu/'s opinion on Azealia Banks?

Please name me artists active before 1968 who are influential to the modern pop landscape. I can think of:
>The Beatles
>The Velvet Underground
>The Rolling Stones
>The Doors
>Pink Floyd
>Louis Armstrong
Who else?
Everyone on that list is completely irrelevent

Was it a big suit?

Exactly how big was the suit?

Drake is the best

Drake's only good when collaborating with Future though.

Why do people feel the need to say they like something just because it's long?
How else can these ratings be justified, as they show that listening to 5 ok releases in a row, makes a great AOTY worthy release, which is simply not the case.

4 hours of glitchy boop shit
2.5/5
why are you so concerned with RYM? lol
besides is it really so crazy to think that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts? when viewed as one piece it's a super disorienting and overwhelming (in a good way) release, and the variety serves it well.

no its shit

Should chinks be allowed to make reggae considering how bad their track record is with it?
When was any of Fishmans work considered reggae
>>65921767
can somebody really be this fucking stupid
I've just listened to Chappie Don't Cry and I thought it was pretty good. King Master George is also excellent, but it's not as dubbey
> They're the embodiment of "how do you do fellow kids"
> Still unironically enjoy their albums

Mark looks so old in the Bored to Death video. It's kinda upsetting.
>>65921606
What's wrong with that? They are just recreating your precious childhood anon.
what's your age again?

How gay
I find it funny /mu/ hates AJJ and calls them cucks when they browse this board
>SG - I’ve been listening a lot to this guy who is actually from Austin named, Zachariah Holte. He does really cool nightmare music. There’s also this really cool rapper named Nikki Minaj that I’m into. I think she has a pretty bright future ahead of her.

Basically directed at people like us.
I like AJJ. I just don't like anything after Can't Maintain. That album was the peak of their career and they still haven't realized it yet. It showed incredible growth and maturity, and then they regressed 10 times over afterwards.
>>65921170
This. All of their political and moral sentiments are really infantile - on the flipside, their reflections on depression/mania/love/life in general in Can't Maintain and their earlier albums are for the most part refreshingly genuine and unique. The music is uncomplicated but catchy, fun to listen to, and meshed well with their lyrics.
I saw them live once and the crowd sucked, though.
