There's almost no point of me asking this but whatever.
Found this mixtape (DJ Mondie - Straight Up Vol. 1 Hosted by Shizzle) on soulseek but it's missing tracks 2 and 4, any chance anyone has got them? Shit's so rare not even RYM has got a track list for it.
Bumpin this
Other two are looong dead and have been up for over 12 hours. Why are mods deleting these all of a sudden?
New track:
https://soundcloud.com/weirddrumpatterns/stay
>Trip-hop, hip-hop, samples, experimental (for me anyway)
Trying to have a quicker output, hoping to improve so feedback is appreciated, so are likes and even listens. Will try and return all feedback/listens.
I like the way you said "(for me anyway)". It's annoying seeing people here say their music is experimental when it really isn't

Baroque Edition. Discuss all those great baroque composers, from Sweelinck, Monteverdi and Schütz, to Telemann, Rameau and Händel, with all the Bach, Buxtehude, Scarlatti, Biber and Corelli in between!

No Anon. You mean /classical/. Not /artmusic/.
I haven't been listening to Baroque composers for a while. How about you guys pick the Baroque composer I listen to?
>>48455549
Lets start with some beautiful Corelli
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VDX8e9JxQc
Favorite Purcell pieces everyone?
>>48455600
I mean both. Add in 'art music' to keep the autists happy.
I think you should listen to... Scarlatti. mostly because I know fuck all about him and would be interested to see what you come back with
I love Prog music, wanting to get into some more bands like these guys, which are my top 3 bands.
I'm not a fan of Opeth because I dislike screaming lyrics personally.
Not all of Opeth has harsh vocals. Go and check out Damnation by Opeth, no screamed lyrics at all and they're very similar to those 3 bands, PT particularly.
Oh and I would also recommend Anathema, Weather Systems is a beautiful album as is A Natural Disaster.
euphoric

Dayman (ahahahhh)
Fighter of the Nightman (ahahahhh)
Champion of the sun (ahahahhh)
I'm a master of karate and friendship for everyone
Retrowave thread, my retroniggas!
or neo-80s synthwave, outrun, neon noir, newretro, or whatever the fuck you want to call it. No vaporwave allowed.
So far Perturbator and Lazerhawk wee my favorite artists in that scene but I must say I'm really impressed by Mega Drive's latest output.

>inb4 "hurr durr you weren't even born in the 80s so obviously you have no right to enjoy that music you're a poser and that's not even what synthwave sounded like in the 80s"

My own, I'm just starting out with this genre, so feedback is welcome
https://soundcloud.com/katanavirtual/neurorage
Without genre division, you could post ambient, dance, rave, vaporwave, everything, one term: only 10/10 albums. And i prefer 90s, 00s albums, Kraftwerk or Eno could be good but too old and archaic. Lets play

Bump, post some amazing albums lazy fuckers

Is Reaper better than FL Studio when it comes to mastering stuff?
>>48439166
DAWs are tools: past certain standards, all that can change is the way to achieve a goal. Besides the workflow, it doesn't matter if you master on FL, Bitwig, Live, Reaper, Reason, Cubase, etc. as long as you know what you should be doing.
Is there a pastebin with links for VSTs, packs and samples?
The last one was dead and close to bump limit, so here's another.

My library is too full of bleeps and bloops. I already like Ride's Nowhere, Loveless, Slowdive's Souvlaki and Pygmalion, Bark Psychosis' Codename Dustsucker, and Kinoko Teikoku's ????. Looking for emotional but powerful stuff. Could I get an essentials list or something?
C'mon. Modern releases too.
