I think it's time we addressed the elephant in the room: there's a serious problem on this board stemming from an attempted Marxist revolution of musical taste disguised as the philosophy of "subjectivity".
It's an unspoken but well-understood rule that /mu/ is a board for music lovers. People with well-rounded tastes that is built upon a preference from theoretical, emotional, and sonic elements that they've found makes up their favorite pieces of music. You asked these people why they liked a song and they could tell you. If the quality...

Sora no Woto was a pretty fun show.
The atmosphere was great, humor pretty good, animation was fairly well done. Overall it was one of my favorite shows. I haven't seen an Sora no Woto discussion around here lately, thoughts?
I agree.
>tfw pop punk threads are becoming commonplace on here
But there's a place for both lovely hedonistic pop songs and also meaningful, brilliantly crafted art music, and everything in between

He always pwns them :^)
But can he beat John Cena?
I think it's cool how he is like 30 and still acts like a highschooler ;O)
Maybe he will diss another big name rapper next song =o)

What are some songs about heroin (or other opiates)? I only know of two off the top of my head...
"The Whit Lady Loves You More" by Elliott Smith
and
"When It Hits My Blood" by John Vanderslice
You got more, /mu/?
>>49339090
the velvet underground - heroin
john lennon - cold turkey
I'd like to think this is a double concept album all about heroin.

hello, fellow producers of /mu/. what are you all working on? share projects, post soundclouds, discuss production, talk gear, what have.
just ordered pic related, and I'm very stoked about it. I've been dreaming about this thing since last summer, and I finally found a unit in good condition with power supply and memory card at the right price. now I just need a decent, cheap audio interface... I've been working solely with midi and samples up until now. any suggestions?
sample deletion, sequencing, and sound quality are shit on the 202
there are better/easier/more efficient ways for hardware manipulation for a wide genre of music production.
I have a 404 and love the thing to death.
nigger what the fuck
should've shell'd out the extra dosh and got a 303
