>>66017862
Ok anon since you asked for a story
My ex begged me to meet him on the rooftops of a shopping centre yesterday, begged me to bring food and the only reason he managed to get me to come out and see him was by convincing me that he wanted to give things another shot. I get there and he pours a can of tuna all over the carpark and goes "this is our friendship!" And I pretty much was done. Got up to leave, disappointed in him and his pathetic personality, then he runs over to a bag of chocolates I brought...

What song do you wanna kill yourself to?
I can't decide between Goodbye Stranger (grandmas favorite song) or Life's Been Good cause it makes me think of my childhood. Nothing to do with the name or lyrical implications, just the literal experience from hearing the song playing on the beach speakers while playing with brothers and sisters as a child. It's a tough choice for me, but ultimately I know I'm gonna go with Supertramp.
What about you dudes?
>>66017855
Pretty nice selection
Surprisingly upbeat tracks for suicide also pretty Interesting how'd you'd go for the childhood memories route.
thanks for sharing OP
I'd probably end up going with Everybody Wants to Rule the World by tears for fears. This songs always manages to find me after significant things in my life happen(graduations, reuniting with old friends. or occasionally where i'm alone reflecting on my life)
if wasn't for the sentimental value of that song it'd...

I unironically like Frank Sinatra but this fucking ruined it for me
Quick question and I'll delete this thread.
What was the name of that site where people can create rooms, and when others join the room they can all share music that would then play? Like a DJ room or something.
the boiler room
>>66017915
Nah that wasn't it. It was basically like Plug.dj, except you could upload your own tracks directly, and there wasn't all that extraneous shit.
>>66017946
soundcloud
ITT god sent music for pretentious dicks.
Basinski is excellent background music but I honestly couldn't imagine sitting down and listening to a seven-second loop of music for an hour. and this is coming from a fan of Steve Reich, Philip Glass, LaMonte Young, Terry Riley, etc.
>>66017895
ready for the ride of ambience
>>66017942
ambient is good as long as there is musical development, which Basinski rejects in favor of musical degredation. it's fascinating, but it doesn't exactly make for a user-friendly listening experience. here's my recommendation.
please guy's what's the album?

Your baby is so cute, what is the gender of your baby?

So were they committed to an asylum after the recording of this?
>>66017505
wait what I've actualy heard this album i cant remember anything about it though, is it post rock?
>>66017845
It's definitely post something, however, it's more akin to post-sanity. There's literally a song that's just a guy leaving his house and starting up a car.
>>66017845
It's ok, I liked it. It's more a collection of drones and ambient sounds created from an old barn. Their first album is one of my favorites though, I recommend it if you like Silver Mt Zion/ GYBE stuff.
Tell me about Melt-Banana. Why does he wear the mask?
>>66017504
To smell his bad breath, because of his fetish.
He gets nosebleeds often for some reason, so plugs his nose with tissue paper and wears the surgical mask.
Wearing surgical masks are actually quite common in Japan when one is sick as to not spread the illness as easily you see

>Wearing surgical masks are actually quite common in Japan when one is sick as to not spread the illness as easily you see
I heard thats actually a wide misconception and it's really a protection from cedar fever.
