What genre do you have Death Grips tagged as in your library?
ITT: Summarize an album's themes and ideas with one word
I'll be posting some Chicago Local.
You can post whatever the fuck you want.
This just dropped at CES
looking for albums like this one
Trip-Hop thread then
What albums have you heard recently?
Recommend some stuff
finally got around to listening to this

what does /mu/ think of pc music?
Any alt Album art yet?
What kind of music do feminists usually listen to?
Post an album you believe to be flawless.
Then, respond to others' albums with flaws that they have.
Ideally, be specific with flaws to facilitate discussion. For example:
>too much filler
Try giving specific filler tracks.
What about it is obnoxious?
A lot of the songs on that album have too many instruments and the timbres are often pretty shitty (notably banjo and wind). Also so many of the instrumental sections are unnecessary.
I actually fucking love this album so this pains me
a few tracks (Let's Hear that String Part Again..., A Conjunction of Drones..., One Last "Whoo-Hoo!"...) seem kind of unnecessary in the context of the album
but I don't know anything so
/shoegaze/ general - pedals porn edition maybe?
>your shoegaze AOTY 2014
>your shoegaze worst AOTY 201
>what are You waiting for 2015
>what do you love/hate about shoegaze?
stay dreamy /mu/
I do enjoy shoegaze and dreampop, but I actually have some problems finding good "wall-of-sound" records. By now, the only records that gave me this feeling are Loveless, that one candy claws album and pinkshinyultrablast. I've listened to other albums, such as Heart by XO or soulvaki but they didn't sound like that. Any suggestion?
If all goes as planned, 2015 is going to be a fantastic year for music, especially compared to the somewhat lackluster 2014
Post releases you're excited for ITT
Autechre is the only thing I care about listening too lately. Exai, Draft 7.30, Confield, Oversteps, I feel like I have become a nonstop continuous orgasm while listening to these albums. What other electronic music besides the obvious afx, boc, ect sound like autechre? I mean really glitchy, fuckd, texturally complex, reality melting, technologically insane electronic music?
Have you ever listened to autechre? This shit is more intricate and layered than pretty much any other electronic music I've heard, you must have untrained plebber ears if you can't hear this
