pleb ass nigga
Has anyone ever commented on a band shirt you were wearing?
My only experience stems from a brief encounter in college, I was wearing my favorite Black Flag t-shirt (Nervous Breakdown) and a *very* fat girl passed by me and said "Excellent taste!!" I've never met any punk bros or qt punk gfs which is kinda what I was hoping for when I first bought it.

I was wearing my Slint shirt one day and some guy asked me if it was a Slint shirt
>>53327168
'yeah'
'cool'
I was wearing my band's shirt at school and a girl came to me and told me "I'm colleagues with the vocalist !"
I just said "Yeah ? Me too !" (I'm guitarist)

Do you remember how much hype there was for this album? I remember it not taking long after it came out for the tide to start turning. There was some hate. Overall I think the responses was (and still is) positive.
So what do you think about this album a year later? I still listen to it regularly. I was never a huge fan of Daft Punk before, though (of course I'd heard them), so maybe that affects my perception of it.

>Overall I think the responses was (and still is) positive.
How delusional do you have to be?
>>53340136
Lol, I just listened to this album after many months.
8/10 then, 8/10 now.
>>53340136
Damn good album. Danceable, nostalgic, groovy, only a couple of tracks that suck. 8/10

what's your mums favorite album again?
>>53336243
It was the first album we listened to together.
That was before she turned started to turn into her mother. Listening to that album brings me to tears because it represents to me how much she had changed. Was with her for 6 years, most of my young adult life.
Xiu Xiu - Always.
First time I listened to it was the last day we were together. February 26th.
Gorrilaz 6/10
Demon Days 10/10 (super nostalgia factor but I love it for the songs not the memories I have of the album)
Plastic Beach 7/10
The Fall 6/10
pablo- 5/10
bends- 7/10
ok pc- 9/10
kid a- 10/10
amnesiac- 7.5/10
httt- 7/10
in rainbows- 9/10
tree kings- 6.5/10
Yeah man, gorrilaz and radiohead
>>53318334
I feel like Amnesiac is more like a 8 or 9, but that's just me.
Are you not into the wormy darkness of it? I see you gave Kid A a 10/10 so perhaps you enjoy a more cleaned up sound?
I like Kid A a lot too but it's not a 10 for me.
How can one country be so devoid of musical talent?
But Kanye and NMH are from there!
That's a joke right? I'm not even American and I know this isn';t true you sound angry

Most of the worthwhile music made for the nearly the last century has come from the US.
What umbrella term would accurately describe albums such as:
OPN - R+7
James Ferraro - FSV
Giant Claw - DARK WEB
Jerry Paper - Big Pop for Chameleon World
as well as PC Music's output

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Is your response the simulacra of a meme?
Also good for dream pop, blackgaze, and noise pop.

Recommend some good "art punk" or experimental punk albums.
>>53333761
Both of This Heat's albums of course
Over the Edge is the slightly better album, but Youth of America is probably "artier".
