Hey /mu/, I'm making a song. Dubs or higher decides the time signature, chord progression, and/or instruments used.
Pic is unrelated, but I thought it looked cool.

he's irish
In my opinion he is one of the greatest rock producers out there (XTC, New York Dolls, Psychedelic Furs, The Tubes, Meatloaf, The Cars), he mastered a bunch of genres (chamber pop with The Nazz, 70s pop with his early solo stuff, jazz rock with Utopia), has put out at least a couple of albums for the ages (pic related)... Yet he doesn't get half the love Brian Eno gets. Why is that? What does/mu/ think of him?
>>53919648
production wise, he's one of the GOATs. i absolutely admire his sound. he was sampled by hundreds of artists. musically not so much. he put a lot of cheesy stuff out
>>53919811
Absolutely agree. Though there are plenty of gems hidden amid all that cheese. Is this Grizzly Bear before Grizzly Bear or what?

How can I make this better?
I've been using Cubase Elements 7 for a while now ( Got it for free from buying an Audio interface)
Is there any reason or tools I didn't use so far which could make me switch to another program or is it fine?
