Who /bleep/ here?
>techno interests me
As TJR eloquently described them, Liturgy are a gestamkunstwerk. Their existence is performance art which supports the music they create. And if like Wagner they create "musical dramas" then Hunter-Hunt Hendrix's life is yet again perfectly emblematic of this, pushing black metal's and people's boundaries in an effort to further music.
Not an album for the closed-minded. Or Rossini lovers.
we all know HHH has autism
but he means well.
he just can't get out what he is trying to do without making sense to anybody.
Ark work was still executed poorly because he just did everything on ableton. it's sounds good and it's progressive. but I think he's still holding back extremely talented guys like greg fox.
I hope the next record in the next 5 years is where he finally gets his shit together.
Music wise aesthetica is better but the backlash made him scared to...

ITT we create our own super pretentious album art and others think of a title.
ITT: we list nonwhite indie bands, or at least indie bands with a significant nonwhite member.
I'll start: Sweet Trip.
Test Icicles, the guy also does solo work.
By the way, this article is so what the fuck. Imagine if some white male writer at Pitchfork Pitchfork released an article called "The Unbearable Blackness of Hip Hop". That would cause outrage and make national media headlines.
But as a brown female she could literally call for the death of the white man in this article and be praised as some purveyor of equality.
>killing the girl who didn't reciprocate your love and realizing how beautiful the moment is when you're getting rid of her lifeless corpse

And they might just be an accessory, but where the fuck are the awesome samples? Allelujah had some of the best they'd done yet.
Flatlander is best Death Grip
Prove me wrong.
>protip: you can't.

Why did she have to ruin her article with these tweets?
Because she's a stupid sheltered suburban cunt that has nothing better than cause drama. This is literally all she'll have to look back on at the end of her life and she's milking it for all it's worth.
Post your music player, /mu/
Is this THE greatest EP of the year?
Some interesting textures and rhythm patterns, but the compositions got stale fast. If they were all combined into one progressively evolving track you would have track 1 to the greatest EP of the year.
So we can all agree that the p4k article was terrible, but do you think there is a worthwhile discussion to be had about race in music?
>pic slightly related
I want mods to explain deletion of the threads regarding p4k article on racial issues in indie rock, they had some meaningful discussion in them.
