I've always felt Andy Kaufman is the ultimate musician's comedian. There's just something really special about him that translates to the spirit of music better than any other comedic performer.

Thread for the sharing of unconventional or otherwise under appreciated instruments, and for people who play them. I would like to thank the anons for their whole-hearted support in the creation of this thread.
Examples and possible topics of discussion:
Tom Wait's Conundrum (I posted this in another thread but fuck it whatever)

Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>"I have a lot of violent impulses. It gets channeled into music. I like to play drums when I'm angry. At home I have a metal instrument called a conundrum with a lot of things hanging off it that I've found - metal objects - and I like playing it with a hammer. I love it. Drumming is therapeutic. I wish I'd found it when I was younger."
I hear Appalachian Dulcimer is wicked easy to play, and I almost bought one too in this eccentric music story near me. The guy there builds his own instruments and collects old ones, and had a few gathering dust in a corner. I had already got my tenor banjo from him at the time so I was scrapped for cash. Too bad too, the place closed down or something before I could go back in.

Grooveshark is dead. Fuck my life.
Is there anywhere left to listen to and catalog full songs without downloading? Goddamn I wish I backed up my playlists, I'd been using that site for 6+ years.

What are some of your favorite Pop songs where the piano is the main part of the song /mu/?
Pick one.
>>55519448
The one on the right because I can't really see the one on the left's face because there's makeup and hands covering the majority.
Also the one on the right seems like she'd be able to take a joke and isn't too fucking serious and can actually hold a conversation. LOL

You're not smart, anon.
Your favorite director has announced he will make a TV show based on your favorite album.
Each episode will be based around a song from the album.
This is a neat idea
Terrence Malick and Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska

This would be the greatest thing of all time.
Michael Bay and Death Grips
Nice
America is falling into more and more chaos as the riots only gets bigger and more violent
What's the perfect album for the situation? Anything but edge metal is welcomed
>inb4 people start arguing about race issues instead
Is it really that bad over there? Why can't people just be nice? Being nice is nice.
Burn baby Burn

>Artist has released over 400 albums
Why is this allowed?
Who the fuck is going to stop them?
Will it be you, music police?
>>55521841
Why not? Should artists just let their good ideas be forgotten? If they have to money to record it why shouldn't they?
Which genre has the least amount of try hards?
nu-metal obviously
>>55524019

Indiepop
Sad music for the lonely and the depressed.
Starting with a classic.
Crywank - Tomorrow Is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday is Stupid
Carissa's Wierd - Song's About Leaving
This one is great.
>Tfw you love sad music but hate any and all emo music.
Stuff like pic related is GOAT
The Cure - Disintegration
The best of their 'goth trilogy' and their most accomplished work overall.
