>it comes out as really dull and gloomy industrial rock

Sounds more interesting than any future funk I've ever heard. Post that shit, legit interested.

Thoughts on /r9k/'s taste?
What does /mu/ think of Dragonforce?
Did he become just another casualty of society?
Doesn't look like it

What are some songs like Midnight City by m83? Currently listening more and more to Electronic genre right now. Need reccomendation
So you want neon indian but all their songs feature some kind of loud annoying sound?
Midnight city is pretty annoying imo
buh... BWA BWUH BWAA
BWA BWUH BABABABA
the whole fucking song
No, I mean that sound in the track is annoying. Regardless of how many times you play it, that's redundant. Anything is annoying with repetition. Its in commercials, Teenage girls throw it on when they wanna be so indeh. If this song isn't annoying to you by now, I'd applaud if I weren't so bewildered.
What are Modest Mouse live like?
Pretty solid. When I saw them Isaac was just getting drunk and having a good time, talking random bullshit with the crowd. Also, they're all solid musicians. It's a pretty enjoyable show. 8/10

Let's be honest here. In comparison to this, Not Here/Not Now was terrible.
i don't know what source gira used for the primavera audio on not here/not now but what i do know is that he absolutely butchered it and it has some of the worst mastering i've ever seen on a live album. it's absolutely unlistenable. there are radio bootlegs of that primavera set that sound better.
I still haven't listened but The Seer/BTS/Toussaint is one of the greatest things they done. Oxygen was also much better than it was on the record.
I am not talking about the audio quality though, that was terrible.
