>We are all but recent leaves on the same old tree of life and if this life has adapted itself to new functions and conditions, it uses the same old basic principles over and over again. There is no real difference between the grass and the man who mows it.
what did he mean by this??
The man who made this album is a legend RIP. miss this man everyday
I was thinking about making a Captial Steez thread earlier actually
what do you guys think about his death? apparently the ProERA guys had Steez tell them to their face that he was going to jump off the building
no one thought to call him up or keep an eye on him?
there's also that theory out there that Joey Bada$$ had something to do with his death...i ain't going to speculate on that but its hella interesting all the same
Also, he fucking killed Joey...

Why were they so good? All their hits were catchy yet also rarely do two songs sound the same.
>Why were they so good?
They were/are all great musicians, but it was mostly the acid
I mean all of Phils songs are good. But the openers are something else.
>I Want Wind to Blow
> I. The Sun
>Wind's Dark Poem
>Through the Trees pt.2
I've never listened to anything by Gorillaz. Are they any good? What am I missing out on, /mu/?
They are fucking awesome. They play different genres. Pic is a "guide" to gorillaz depending on what genre you like.
POP AOTY. best work yet.
Well I've been messing around with FL Studio for 2 months now but still have absolutely no idea what the fuck I'm doing. I just do random things until they sound cool and I throw them together. Where can I learn how to actually make music? I have no idea what the fuck any of this MIDI stuff or controllers are and how they work, I have a simple MIDI keyboard connected to FL Studio and that's about it. I don't know how to actually do anything unless it's a mistake. Any tips?
So you're saying even though I'm just fucking around and randomely turning knobs until i like the sound, as long as I keep fucking around until it all fits together to just keep doing that? I guess learning by trial and error is one approach, I just figured you all had some sort of source that taught you guys how to get into this stuff.
just do it
TFW my gf asks what progressive rock is.
/mu/ what are some god-tier but lesser known prog rock albums you've been enjoying lately. Pic unrelated, i know it's a classic.
