This is actually a very poignant critique of humanity, of our society, our education system, how we treat the planet.
Alien Kids aren't a mere music group, they are revolutionists of the 21st century, asking you to stand up against the evil Illuminati controlled zionist government.
They're all asking us to release the inner Bohemian in us, and pursue our dreams instead of feeding into the big corporate machine that makes us work meaningless office jobs from 9 to 5.
The jews are probably zoning in on my location as we speak, but you have to wake up sheeple.
I always find myself going back for another listen, instant classic.
unironically good
Is Viet Cong good live?
>>59663560
You must be confused anon. There's no band by that name.
>>59663624
I... don't think you're correct. How edgy would it be to get a Viet Cong T-Shirt?
I saw them play a 40 min set in a festival setting. It was pretty good. If you like their stuff you'll enjoy them live. If you've never heard their shit, then they'll probably blend. I'm sure a dedicated show at a smaller venue would have better energy so I can't speak for that.
sup /mu/, /k/ here
is this ok?

She looks like jabba the hut in that freeze frame.
>>59663289
is it ok though?
>>59663641
Of course not.
Why would it be?
Hey /mu/ I want some help. I dont think Ive ever been able to be as fully emotionally attached to music as much as I know a lot of other people are. I want to be more connected with what I hear but theres some sort of resistance or something.
I can see this when I'm writing my own music, I'm almost hesitant to use some lyrics over others purely because i find them too "sentimental" (thats the closest words I can come up). It seems to me that my problems arn't at all important and singing about them would be stupid since the entire world is going to shit and my i dont see complaining about anything as justified, thats one of my theories at least. I dont understand this.
Its the same with any art form really. I dont think I could ever see myself acting for instance because of the uncomfortable knot thats put in my stomach with just thinking of it.
Sorry if I sound vague but like I said I dont really understand this at all. I want to be comfortable sharing and making art but the prospect of doing so makes me anxious.
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Try writing in a diary. Might help you get more comfortable with direct expression of your thoughts and feelings
Also keep in mind your music doesn't have to be emotional and you don't have to connect with music on an emotional level to enjoy it. That's just one approach
>>59663143
solid advice
>>59663143
But being comfortable on that level is something i greatly desire
Also great suggestion on the diary I have one but I dont take notes on my emotional self, ill give it a shot
Should I switch to Spotify, /mu/? I would on a heartbeat but I listen to way too many auto playlists, a thing Spotify simply can't do. Another thing is that 1/3 of my library is soundtracks, which most you can't find at Spotify. Plus the desktop player is shit.
Spotify's system is way too convenient, you don't have to: download shit, organize files, download covers, make playlists to fit your shit in a miserable 16GB SD card, etc. It is also really nice that once you feed it with your likes, it recommends you really spot-on shit.
Should I move...

do it spotify is amazing
I mean you can do it if all you listen to is mainstream shit that's actually on Spotify.
If you already have the files, assuming you've tagged them well, why not just use google music? You can just upload them there and stream them elsewhere.
Is there more accurate sound of despair
The Smiths sound like a parody of depression tbh
