What went right/wrong?
>girls and their curls and their gourmet vomit
>boys and their toys and their six inch rockets
seriously what the fuck does this even mean?
Is /mu/ into audiophile vinyl rips? I know of pbthal and his website and he has top notch stuff. Any other good stuff out there?
Also before plebs starting shitting up the thread: Vinyl isn't inherently better than a CD. It's inferior in fact, but because vinyl is an inferior medium it doesn't let mastering engineers crank up the volume and compress everything till it makes your ears bleed. That would cause a lot of distortion on vinyl.
That is why 99% of vinyl masters have better dynamics, detail and are generally a more pleasant listening experience.
Plenty of modern music on vinyl is exactly the same master as the CD version though...The record companies don't care if it sounds like shit, and the kids that buy their records at urban outfitters and play them on their shitty Crosley turntables can't tell the difference anyway.

how do i overcome this feel
Please explain why La Dispute is shit without mentioning >fanbase no plebs real /emo/ crit shitlords
I think they come across as trying too hard, especially with their lyrics. Too whiny, take themselves too seriously.
I say this as a fan of the band. I'm just guessing what people who don't like them would say based on things I've noticed from listening to La Dispute.
Also this girl told me that the band is really popular on tumblr so that could be why some people don't like them, but that might fall under your category of "bad fanbase".
this is surely the best rap album of the year, no?
What does /mu/ think about mac demarco
He's okay. His music is listenable, but not it's great, and it's really attached to current trends so it will probably age poorly as well. I don't really have anything in particular against him or his music, but I also definitely don't consider myself a fan.
What does /mu/ think of him?
