What does /mu/ think about the recent news that merch cannot be sold in the venue in Australia?
What are those women protesting about?
>>60317450
I have no idea, but it should be about this. Bands make nearly all their money from tickets and merch these days, don;t make it harder to sell merchandise.
>>60317450
Not relevant to the discussion.
>>60317432
I think it's rude. What if a fan wants merch?
ITT: albums that are way better than they should be

Imagine her giving you a stocking-job...
>1965-1969
How the FUCK did popular music advance so much faster then than in any other time, in '65 rock had only advanced marginally past Elvis and Chuck Berry but by '69 not only has psychedelic rock already come and gone, but prog is well underway, Black Sabbath is recording the first doom metal album and electronic music is starting to creep into pop. It affected jazz too
Was it the drugs? Or was it just by chance that this period was, relative to the preceding years, the most forward thinking
>>60317344
Everything was new and fresh back then, it's all as stale as your mother's rectal passage now.
signal processing and cheap transistors
I'm telling you fags it's because of Dylan
name an important rock album released before Highway 61 Revisited
What albums would you call courageous?
Art Angels
I'm not bullshitting either. I think it was a courageous move, her putting out that album.

When you're a lot older and you've moved onto much superior music.
People here talk shit about bands like Steam Powered Giraffe but praise the shit out of this album that SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME
Epic swing sinister shit m8 xD so quirky and randumb
If this was more popular you elitist fucks would hate it
But Mr. Bungle is popular
I see people mention them online a lot more often than SPG
I think it's more so the way Steam Powered Giraffe present their sound. /mu/ thinks that anyone who associates with certain scene cultures (i.e. steampunk or seapunk) are idiots or whatever they make is really bad. I don't think they are that bad, but there's plenty who would just write off an artist because of their aesthetic or style. Most people don't even like Mr. Bungle on here for that reason. I do agree though that if it was more popular /mu/ wouldn't like it as much because of the people it attracts.
