Love the album artwork. Songs are okay. A few I like. 6/10

yeah man, you're in my top 5 of the decade hard to forget
What are some albums with really wide appeal?
>deep lyrics
>great arrangements
>catchy melodies
>accessible vocals and instruments
I can't see anyone especially disliking this.
>shite singing

>Joanna Newsom
>accessible vocals
Lol. I love her voice, even on her old stuff, but it will turn off a lot of first-time listeners.

Only about 5% of the essentials are even all that good
I know nearly everything about hip hop. Ask me anything.
where do you see hip hop in 10 years
I'm looking for some very specific hip hop acts.
Is there a rap group or artist that relies heavily on improvisation and uses mostly live instruments? I already know about The Roots and Face Candy.
Is there a rap group or recording that heavily features strings? Cello, viola, etc. this can be either sampled or live but preferably with classically influenced harmony. Bonus points for 20th century classical influenced harmony.

yeah i was looking obsessively for this last year and got really frustrated because i couldn't find anything
I live in a house with fairly thin walls, how do I learn to scream like Varg does without disturbing the neighbours?
Kill your bandmate and consume his soul.

I think that's a good way to get arrested.
Just embarrassing... I couldn't even make it passed the first song. Waits tries so hard to come off as deep, dark, and mysterious that I half expected him to teleport behind me with a katana at any moment. How can anyone actually think that Waits is a good vocalist when his idea of singing consists entirely of barking out this edgy shit? He's is basically the Death Grips of the 80s.
Looks like you didn't make it to Singapore you fucking buttpirate.

OP you're pretty much 100% correct.
Which is the artist or group (as in a band or duo) that you like so much you could actively say you are close to being the number one fan of? An artist you like enough to go to their gigs, or actually buy their shit and that has sort of become part of the way you are perceived by people (as in people go "oh, X has been mentioned, Anon really likes his work").
Post as few artist as you can, one or two, and others guess stuff about you.
With me the only ones I can think of are Aesop Rock and the Wu Tang Clan's the GZA
Neurosis
btw, I am also a pretty big fan of the bazooka tooth. Him and Eyedea are pretty much the only rappers I listen to on a regular basis (among the guys they frequently collaborated with)
