ITT Overrated and overhyped albums
I love Talking Heads, but I could never get into this album save for Once In a Lifetime
Are there any bands that combine emo with slowcore? It seems like a match made in heaven, but I never see it. The only examples I can think of is Karate's s/t, some of Endserenading, and maybe some Lowercase

Have they done anything as good as or close to as good as pic related? I just listened to it for the first time and I really enjoyed it
( ) and Takk are just as impressive but to me Agaetis byrjun is their most inspired work, and sounds the least like generic post rock. Von is like a demo version of Agaetis byrjun; it's a "good ideas but bad execution" type of album

When you're three tracks in and not feeling it and considering shutting it off but you power through and it just gets worse.
Easily the most dreary, dull, and straight up boring /mu/core I've listened to.
There are definitely strong moments here but there is nowhere near enough payoff to justify its length.
I feel as though I've a wealth to say pertaining to music, certainly much that would serve to alleviate normies' crippling retardation within the medium, but they never take an interest in me and ask for my opinion.
How can I force normies to take an interest in my opinions concerning the various regions of music.
