Can we discuss this guy /mu/?
Since Em came back in 2009 it's been interesting seeing him jump into so many different sounds. Relapse was awful on a lot of levels but the flow was pretty decent on a couple songs with 'Beautiful' being one of my favorites.
Recovery was a step in the right direction in terms of subject matter since he was pushing 40 when it was released and should probably start being a little bit more mature. However the hooks and beats on this album just weren't great. That and going full pop.
I felt similarly about MMLP2...

WHY DON'T YOU KIDS LIKE THE STYX?
Has anyone seen this? So apparently a man met a dimension traveling individual and was able to obtain a Beatles album that was never released in our dimension. He released it for free on his blog.
What do you guys think?
I liked TPAB so recommend me some stuff that's just as quality please.

Hi! Oh my god, it's so good to see you!
/mu/, why is this album hated so much? Personally I think its one of his better works, not the best but up there, and at the very least it's decent.
its the most listened new release
of course its going to be hated you fool
its also loved more than it should be
>hey boys i haven't been around for a while, so whats mus general consensus on this album
If you're familiar with his other work it's blatantly obvious that this album is quite a step away from his other material. It's essentially his take on "Pop" music and a lot of the songs actually contain an inherent structure, and some point actual groove. Going from making ethereal ambient soundscapes to whatever Garden of Delete is was ballsy, it's easily becoming one of my favorite releases of the year though.

rec, assume personalities
I'm trying to come up with songs that are about some sad and depressed drunks, or really just people who are at a standstill in their lives. So far I've come up with:
Warren Zevon - Desperados Under the Eaves
The Eagles - Hotel California
Any more in that vain?
Does /mu enjoy dub or raggae ?
