How do you feel about about people wearing band merch? I really want to buy a animal collective t shirt, would you guys make fun of someone if they wore a band t shirt?
If I liked the band I might be inclined to compliment them on their shirt. There's nothing wrong with wearing band shirts in my opinion.
That said, if you're going out to dinner at a nice restaurant or doing something more than just casual, don't wear a band shirt.
>that time John Maus met with Sam "Christian Crusader" Hyde
W e W I wonder what they were up to? Probably someone to do with his new show.
yep, apparently john maus made original (?) stuff for mde's new adult swim show

Heh... not bad, kid. Not bad at all. Your meme, I mean. It's not bad. A good first attempt. It's plenty dank... I can tell it's got some thought behind it... lots of quotable material...
But memeing isn't all sunshine and rainbows, kid. You're skilled... that much I can tell. But do you have what it takes to be a Memester? To join those esteemed meme ranks? To call yourself a member of the Ruseman's Corps? Memeing takes talent, that much is true. But more than that it takes heart. The world-class Memesters - I mean the big guys, like Johnny Hammersticks and Billy Kuahana - they're out there day and night, burning the midnight meme-oil, working tirelessly to craft that next big meme.
And you know what, kid? 99 times out of a hundred, that new meme fails. Someone dismisses it as bait, or says it's "tryhard," or ignores it as they copy/paste the latest shitpost copypasta dreamt up by those sorry excuses for cut-rate memers over at reddit. The Meme Game is rough, kid, and I don't just mean the one you just lost :^). It's a rough business, and for every artisan meme you craft in your meme bakery, some cocksucker at 9gag has a picture of a duck or some shit that a million different Johnny No-Names will attach a milion different captions to. Chin up, kid. Don't get all mopey on me. You've got skill. You've got talent. You just need to show your drive.
See you on the subs...
>Nicki Minaj is a good artist
>Her verse on Monster is killer
So, /mu/, when will funny music that doesn't take itself that seriously come back again if it can?
What are "super" groups such a joke?
oh my god
Hey gae bois,
Not new to 4chan but new to r/mu.
What is the general consensus on this band? I saw them in a concert at a little bar in Texas, pretty quiet bunch but super nice as far as people go.
The drummer had to take a dump immediately after the show and I also had to pee really badly. While I was in there this drunk guy talked to the drummer through the stall the entire time he was trying to take a crap. The drummer was super nice about it though and carried on an entire conversation with this dude all while on the shitter.

>heavily filtered mumbling "vocals" while the bare bones instrumental drones on for like 4 minutes
Did people in 2010 actually think this shit was okay?

best house/deep house songs?
this is one of my favs
Who remembers this?
Anyone got any chopped & screwed mixtape recs that aren't DJ Screw era?
Why does nobody talk about this one?
It's really great, but it's slight. Fantastic atmosphere and a couple of classic tracks ("Jar of Cardinals", "Dusted") but nothing approaching the massive pop heights of Propeller, Bee Thousand, and Alien Lanes. Also it's barely a half hour long and hasn't gotten a vinyl reissue.
It's definitely a transitional record and IMO it's easy to see why it would get ignored between Propeller and B1000, but in GBV circles it's a fan favorite I'd say.
