Do you have ''unique'' taste?
wait what, fantano, clt, and p4k sure don't.
>>60578385
sort of.
Lately I've started to wonder if I have taste at all. Everything sounds like music to me, and most things I listen to I enjoy.
i listen to many various genres, u cant pinpoint me imo
but at the same time im very selective in a particular genre when its about for example the genuinity of an artist or a band
so im able to like almost everything but at the same time i dont want to cus of the trust i have in my own intuition if that makes any sense
What are you listening, what are you feeling?
I'm sorry anon, I don't have any sad feels. I just bused home from seeing my close friend. We totally boned and watched Steven Universe! I'm rewatching it with her because she's never seen it before. We just got to the peridot introduction!
I listened to Garden of Delete on the bus home and I really think the closing track sounds like Daniel was heavily influenced by Bon Iver. I know, I know, Bonny Bear is p4k trash, but seriously, it's got Blood Bank-era voice modulation (Woods/Lost in the Woods) mixed with the self-titled-era's song structure...

What is your favorite language lyrically and vocally?
For me, being Danish, I can appreciate the lyrics of Danish music, but I can't stand the language when sung (rap is acceptable).
My favorite languages purely in terms of how they sound in singing is Icelandic and Japanese though. Been listening a lot to some Japanese folkpop stuff recently, and I don't understand 99% of it, but I just love the way the language sounds.

For the language, English, because I speak it.
For the sound of the language, French usually sounds very appealing to me. I very much like Harmonium and Stereolab.
For the accent, Irish.
>>60578234
Oh yeah, I love Irish and Scottish accents.
I was at a Joanna Newsom concert in Berlin earlier this month, and Alasdair Roberts opened for her, and I love his accent.

Rec some Irish music, don't know much.

What are some good recent pop albums? You anons were right, Emotion is a gorgeous album, and what's ultimately the point of music if not to be enjoyable?
who is this cum drum
>>60578116
>what's the point of art if its not enjoyable?

a camwhore
/mu/ I fucking need help.
I just listened to this album and I'm conflicted as fuck.
On the one hand it's obviously non musicians attempting to make 60s pop music and family miserably
On the other hand it sounds like almost post-punk-y in some of its guitar breakdowns and is very hard to pinpoint musically
And the lyrics are so fucking weird, sometimes they feel hollow as a landlord's heart on rent day, but in other times they are like unintentionally heartwarming and deep, especially "Why Do I Fell"
It almost seems like this was planned...

Just listen to where the drummer puts her fills, bands just don't do that normally, reminds me a bit of the Dirty Projectors
idk what to tell you, it's an album born of complete musical ineptitude, and it's perfect
No, it wasn't planned to be that way. There, are you ok now, you autistic little shit?
AOTY thread
>>60578006
The AOTY will be unexpected and will drop in december. Mark my words.
Hunter Hunt Hendrix is the Michael Jordan of Black Metal. /mu/ is just haters because Mayhem is basically just one of those shitty Italian league or w/e basketball teams and Liturgy is the 90s Chicago Bulls
What's some good, uptempo, poppy music for belting out to as a baritone? I need more stuff to sing along to in the car.
>pic related, somewhere around Rivers' range
So around the 2 octaves every single guy in the world can access without any vocal training?
fun story.. i was 3yo in 96..so i could have been in that second or third wave of fans that came in mid 00'.. but sadly..i wasn't.. i mean ''sadly''..ok.. i was a huge greenday fan..so for me, at the time..i didn't really miss anything, it was like.. hmm green day is all i need.. of course i liked beatles,cash,blinks,nirvana..etc. i mean i listened to good music not to specific genre(completely subjective) .. i believe i first heard weezer somewhere in 05 and my first reaction was..(let me explain first that i only listened to melody and didn't...

You don't know shit about shit actually but it's cute how you think you do.

that name offends me

i dun been trggrd
>>60577362
Great album, especially the first track... I kinda like Natural Bridge a bit better, but they are both solid.
Silver Jews > Pavement
After first listen, this is severely underrated. Better than "Heroes" and most of his 70's output
>>60577331
>Better than "Heroes"
Are you fucking kidding?
>>60577644
Apart from the first track and Heroes, the album doesn't do a lot for me. None of its instrumental tracks are as good as Low's. Now granted I've only listened to it once about an hour ago, but I enjoyed it a lot more than "Heroes" as a whole
My stepfather looks just like David Bowie
