For a pleb to listen to on their journey to being patrician.
This is by no means a final product, just some albums from my music library to start off with.
Feel free to swap them out for something that's agreed to be better.
Last 2 slots are albums beginning with a number and "other"

I literally cannot hear songs about love anymore. I get really depressed and angry when I hear them. This sucks because I can't listen to most music anymore since most songs are about love in a way or another.
Anyone has any music recommendation that is uplifting but isn't about love? Like something that won't make me regret living my life alone. Seems like every loveless artists are depressing.
Nothing aggressive either, I'm tired of being angry all the time.
>>60723144
Never heard of them.
I'm not sure what you're asking for, but most Krautrock is upbeat/uplifting while not talking at all about love. (don't listen to Monster Movie though)
If you mean sad music that isn't about love, then maybe Spiritualized, it's more about recovering from love.

I have hated Coldplay for so long that I honestly think they are trolling me at this point.
Chris Martin on their latest "song" featuring Beyonce
"The original kernel was that I was listening to Flo Rida or something, and I thought, it's such a shame that Coldplay could never have one of those late-night club songs, like 'Turn Down for What,'"
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT FUCKING MIND LISTENS TO A FUCKING FLO RIDA SONG AND THINKS 'HEY WOW IT WOULD BE GREAT IF COLDPLAY MADE A SONG LIKE THIS'
That's fucking hilarious, literally what is he thinking? The absolute madman
dude reverb lmao
Viva La Vida is the best album of the last 10 years.

Is Weezer worth listening to? I've avoided them for ages.
Only if you know which albums to avoid

What does /mu/ think of Touche Amore?
>>60722892
Why didn't you see them anon?
All their studio albums have something to offer. The split with La Dispute is also essential but their other loose tracks are just fan pleasers.

Just released. First song in Painting With which comes out February 19th. Thoughts?
Pretty upbeat and catchy though it is a bit to "poppy" for my tastes. Still a good opener none the less.
Awesome production. Those drums are great. The song itself sucks dick though. It sounds like it will be mass marketed towards teenage girls over popular radio stations.

nigga no
it's been out all day. did you not see the countless threads about it?

annoying melody and vocal cadence, literally sounds like an advertisement jingle, and the vocal interplay sounds like an 80s sitcom theme song.
Will there ever be a pop star that supercedes Michael jackson in terms of success, talent, and insanity?
