Why is he that megalomaniac, egotastic and always mad ?
>>60742653
it's his persona which he created in order to appeal to teenagers, otherwise he would not have gotten any attention for this mediocre music.

How important is emotion for you when listening to a track?
Music really intensifies my emotions, especially if I pick the correct accompanying tracks. Is this normal? Or am I thinking into it too much? Many times I find myself intensely concentrating on every piece of the music instead of just relaxing and enjoying.
I listened to some ambient drone a while ago and I felt fine before I listened to it, but once I heard it, I began to have very depressing and sad thoughts and wanted to cry.
When I listened to the song 'chrome country' by oneohtrix...

havent heard sticky fingers yet, just getting back into the stones, havent listened to them since grade 10
so realistically, assuming you're sitting on a batch of excellent demos, how likely is it that
1) they'll be listened to if submitted to the general demo email of a given record label, say, as big as Carpark or Tri Angle
and 2) you'd be signed just off of that demo alone (assuming they really like the tracks that you sent them)?
Is it even worth it to send out ~30 emails, even if you have very solid recordings?
Given the volume of demos sent to labels electronically, I just don't see how some intern isn't just inattentively...

im in the same boat as you anon. i sent my album to my favorite smaller labels. no responses. no idea what i should do next. i think most people get opportunities from playing shows and getting involved in their city's scene. i wish recordings were enough or my recordings were good enough. rip
>>60742565
could i hear a couple of your demos?
>>60742565
can I hear your demo?
Rappers that went to shit as time went on.

Is this accurate?

I don't think so. No amounts of erudite music post 1950 can outweigh the music that truly represents the second half of the 20th century, that being the experimental post-punk, fluxus, free jazz, etc.
Shostakovich did his best work towards the early century as much as Stravinsky or Schoenberg.
My take on it.
>>60742121
>fluxus
what the fuck is that
>>60742556
in music it's basically John Cage + Yoko Ono
Although Scaruffi also completely missed minimalism + ambient music
So 4Chan, what did you think of Animal Collective's new single?
love it
sounds like cartoon music. so better than most of their other stuff.
Sounds very goofy, not into it.

Technically Kevin Barnes is not nessisarily talking much about homosexual feeling and interactions in this album. As a matter of fact he was married to a woman and has a kid. If you are referring to songs like Tim wish you were born a grill or when your loved like you are, he is really just talking about his male friends, and how they treat him better than any romantic partner he had ever had. Also keep in mind at this time in his life he was heart broken, and probably a bit sexually confused because of his horribly...
