>>60760453
What? Dream was pretty big in his prime in the R&B scene. It's not like he was some obscure nobody.
He was bigger than The Weeknd was when The Weeknd released the original Trilogy.

>If you’re looking for a good way to spend the rest of your week, Archive.org has unearthed a gigantic collection of cassettes from the mid-80 into the mid-90s.
>According to their notes, the 30GB collection was saved from the archives of noise-arch.net and donated by former CKLN-FM radio host Myke Dyer in August 2009. Due to its size and obscurity, the collection hasn’t been properly notated but is said to include cassettes ranging from “tape experimentation, industrial, avant-garde, indie, rock, DIY, subvertainment...

What classifies as a holiday? I have no idea which holidays you burgers have except capitalism month, pop culture masquerade and Merka day.
>Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode
>Valentines Day, if you are in a relationship it's more pressure to force "feelings" if you aren't in a relationship this holiday just makes it more obvious. It's a total failure for everyone.

>>60759347
Burzum's War is an in-depth commentary on the hypocrisy of Judeo-Christian moral systems
>>60759347
I think he means "I lie wounded on the wintery ground" but I might not remember it very well.
This is the (not so anymore) daily general /jazz/ thread
What are you listening to these days and what are your thoughts on it?
What underrated jazz albums do you want to recommend to to the jazz fans of /mu/?
Musicians, what are you practicing/learning?
Plus any other jazz-related questions or discussion

>What are you listening to these days and what are your thoughts on it?
I found an album similar to Indo-Jazz Fusions by Joe Harriott, and thought it was pretty good to listen to something in that vein again, will share the name if anyone is interested.
>What underrated jazz albums do you want to recommend to to the jazz fans of /mu/?
If you like Art Ensembel of Chicago, definately listen to Numbers 1 and 2 by Lester Bowie, their trumpet player.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

nice, jazz and Indian improvisations go quite well together imo. have you heard the two albums John Handy did with Ali Akbar Khan ?
>are there any harmonic instruments in jazz besides Guitar and Piano?
accordion, harp, organ, probably some others but they might not be used a lot in jazz
what 2016 releases are you really hype for /mu/?
