I need music that says (figuratively or literally), "Life is short and we will all be gone soon".
Any genre, any year, whatever works for you.

ITT: "Bands" that are/were actually just mainly one person
>log into /mu/
>it's all memes
Where do I start with them?
I've always wanted to get into The Smiths.
Darklands. Want noisier and dancier? Go to Honey's Dead. Want noisier? Go to Psychocandy. Need more? Go to their early EP's and the Barbed Wired Kisses compilation.
Want softer? Go to Automatic. Want more? Go to Munki (can't remember what this one really sounds like).
Are you a human-meme (l'm guessing this would be the case) and want to listen to the essentials only? Psychocandy, Barbed Wired Kisses and Darklands.
Want to get into The Smiths? All their albums sound similar, just listen to whatever, you either like it or you don't....

Describe this man with one word
Since the musicians make random noises due to the fact they don't try to communicate each other, how do you listen to free jazz/improv? What's the appeal about it?
>to be into music
This is not music that has musical qualities (melody, texture, etc). as i said, these are random noises.
I asked what's the appeal about listening to a genre that fundamentally doesn't try to make music.
how does it not have texture? how is it not music? people have abandoned making lists to qualify something as music a long time ago
I like it since I like the way it sounds. it is pleasing to me
