I need to convert some FLACS and WAVS to 320 MP3... what is the best converter to do this?
>>60849277
VLC can do batch conversion, or you could use Audacity if you want to do them one by one.
>>60849288
thank you x
>>60849277
dbpoweramp. it includes the lame mp3 encoder and batch processing.
Can you please Rec me minimal techno? I'm looking for something less house influenced, with not as much of a beat.
Just small computer-ish sounds jumping around my brain.
/mu/ ISN'T A FUCKING RECS BOARD
HOLY FUCKING SHIT FUCK OFF
>>60849260
I think I saw you in another thread judging by the caps lock and you being a general dickhead. Just leave.

Is anyone else excited for female rapper/electronic musician Kitty Pryde's debut full-length album, Miami Garden Club, dropping in January 2016? She has been steadily improving over her past few releases and I very much believe she can create something truly special now that she's had the industry experience and took the time to mature her lyrics and form a real stage presence.

I think the best thing you can do, is delete that post, and actually talk about the subject of this thread, which is the album in the op.

i would "fuck" grimes to be quite honest
Is Jerry Cantrell the master of writing songs that genuinely make you sad? Of course you got AIC, but this album has got to be one of the saddest pieces of work you will ever hear.
Tell me "Feel The Void" doesn't tear your heart out http://youtu.be/rPileRRbw9M
Jerry Cantrell is literally the best song writer ever
He is the only artist I've heard that hasn't written even one shit song. He is truly amazing
>>60849112
I agree senpai. He's honestly never made a bad song.
I don't understand why he never gets much talk on /mu/ tho. I feel not many people know of his work past Dirt/Jar of Flies
>>60849241
He's the jack of all trades, master of all. His riff writing prowess is unquestionable, literally top 10 riff writer of all time. Some of the most touching lyrics ever written (Down in a Hole, Settling Down, Feel The Void) etc..
Then his solos, he's not the fastest, but there aren't many guitarists out there who write solos that better serve the music as a whole than Cantrell does. His guitar tone is frickin godly on every album.
And he's a pretty damn good vocalist, his voice...

you know there's more post-rock, don't you?
>>60848745
all third-wave crescendo core sounds the same. first-wave is so varied people argue whether they're even the same genre
>>60848771
Muh Talk Talk, Slint, Tortoise, Bark Psychosis, Pram, Cul de Sac, Gastr Del Sol, Stereolab, Disco Inferno

I can't get into Mark Hollis s/t, too sombre and quiet 4 me. I prefer the quiet/loud of talk talk and the spiritual/ethereal of pygmalion
Other Bark Psychosis releases.
Dirty Three
Long Fin Killie
Disco Inferno
Pavement
.O.Rang
>>60848700
here are my shitty and barely informed opinions on your recs: I kinda like dirty three although the violin grates after a while, thought long fin killie's houdini was unfocussed and too long but with some sublime moments peppered throughout, disco inferno blew my mind. ill add pavement & other bark psychosis to my listening schedule so thanks for the recs
>its a Jarboe track
>implying the transition from A Hanging to You Need Me isn't one of the most devastating moments in the Swans discography
I like Jarboe tracks. Especially on CoG and S4TB

Same with Beautiful Child and Blackmail
