What kind of distortion pedal does /mu/ think i should get
proco rat (the old one with the old chip, cant remember the name)
a bunch of EQ pedals
a tube amp
and you need to take your speakers out, and "pay tribute to them" to get that "creamy" sound.
Is the Andrew Dobson of /mu/?
I fell for the Beats Jew trap, these headphones have been falling apart like mad to the point where I needed to tape them, pic related.
I've only had them for a fucking year.
Can I have some /mu/ approved headphones? Got £500 to spend.

Why is this man so fucking good ?
Who is the best female artist of the past 10 years and why is St. Vincent?
What does /mu/ think about this album?
good tunes, but feels a bit samey and gimmicky halfway through (DUDE SULTRY FEMALE VOCALS/RECYCLED BASSLINES)
most of it has aged like bad cheese, except for a couple tunes
Normalfags mostly use/associate lossy MP3s with their music, while neckbeards use 320kbps MP3s or FLAC. But why is is that AAC/M4A isn’t well known at all, considering that it’s newer and less lossy than MP3?
It's well known enough to most, because it used to be (idk if this is how it is now) that people bitched about it not working on any of their MP3 players.
I'd also say that it's lesser known, like the other formats out there (APE, ALAC, OGG) because it either doesn't sound as memorable as MP3 is, or people aren't as format savvy as you'd think. There are some people i've met who still don't know that .doc is for Word.
Because the AAC/M4A isn't a radical improvement compared to MP3. Only at lower bitrates there's a difference (e.g. 128kbps). Also some may prefer the psychoacoustic model of MP3, especially produced using the LAME encoder.
Another reason could be that the M4A encoders aren't really good. The free ones like FAAC are quite average t b h.
rate rec hate love
been a while since I've seen you around, no?
still need to hear the full of hell/merzy thing desu
Can you guys rec the most sincere, no-holds-barred albums you know of?
I don't mean sincere in the le Frontbuttums sense, or Sun Kil Moon, where its painfully trying to be sincere, I mean like pic related, there isn't any irony and full of really honest, gooey songs.
this album combines modern classical, free jazz and rap. it's amazing
why is this so comfy boys
