What do you think of turnycore?
10/10 would listen again
>>60872745
You now realize that this album has sold more than 90% of /mu/core in recent years
>>60872592
Country in general is an incredibly popular genre.

/mu/ isn't an accurate representation of what the music scene looks like

/riff/ general: resurrection edition
Since /metal/ is fucking dildos right now...
Posts must include a link including a piece that exhibits good riffs. What "good" is is pretty much left up to you. If a faggot challenges your taste, promptly put them in their place with an articulate rebuttal as to why your riff is a shit wrecker.
Since this is an image board, posting a pic with your post is also encouraged, but please, only the dankest of memes are allowed and must be related to metal.

from an album I love, so glad it was remixed
Is this the greatest hip-hop album of the 90s? Is there a single comfier winter hip-hop album? Is GZA the best Wu-Tang member? And most importantly, more like this??
fuck off
No, but it's top 5 for sure
Raekwon and Ghostface are undoubtedly better rappers with better catalogs.

their only redeeming quality is that you can use them as a weapon in medieval war
I don't enjoy hip hop/rap/trap, I tried DG, madvillan, kanye, biggie, and it just was not for me. I think it's due to the fact that they are heavily lyric and beat influenced and I need nice chords to really get into something. If i find an album and it turns out to be hip hop I will immediately discard it more often than not. To me it is an over saturated genre with too many amateurs to just randomly pick an album and hope it will be good.
who else doesn't like a genre at all and why?
>>60872302
Does anyone have the whole thing of pic related?
>>60872302
why would you randomly pick an album
>>60872302
Music as whole is too saturated with amateurs to just randomly pick an album and hope it will be good.
/mu/ will never be able to appreciate this album because it's full of whiny faggots who don't like genuinely happy music
>>60872270
shh, there's no benefit in being le poptimist who can apprecciate le happy pop music and nobody fucking cares, faggot. you heard it here first, but keep it secret.
anyway, when I want genuinely happy music that's also genuine art I listen to pic related, not fucking Coldplay.
I like Coldplay but I think this album sucks
Protip: happy music does not HAVE to be watered down bullshit
does any1 kno where i can watch his? she is my waifu

hey she is my waifu too!! ^_^
Just realised I've never really bothered listening to anything released relatively recently, I think I'm going to help build a chart for the best albums release from 2010 to 2016' that's over half a decade right there. Please feel free to post your recommendations. Not limited to any genre. Anything great with cultural importance goes.
Kyle and the Gang - Grand Theft Auto V
Two best lyricists coming up.

great thread
anyone else feel like music is getting very dreary and people aren't having as much fun with this artform as the past? felt like artists used to just hangout in the studio all day and fuck around like a group like odd future however you feel about their music you can't deny they had fun just doesn't seem like a group like that can exist in this time were in. also pop songs have been sadder but I think thats always been the case and maybe i'm just noticing it more to fit this narrative. thoughts? is this just a phase for the music industry?
literally op irl

Sup cunts. Just got a new phone, and for the first time I can fit my entire library on it (my iPood classic was only 80Gb).
My question is what is the best music player for android?
The stock player has almost no options like EQ etc. Would be good to have lock screen controls too.
What does /mu/ recommend? inb4 /mu/ only listens to original pressings of The Wall with portable record players.

anyone got a screenshot of the post saying all the songs she wasnt actually on?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Castles_(2008_album)#Track_listing
>>60872057
She was also not in these and a a couple of the ones on (III)
And even when she did vocals they were really chopped up, pitch corrected and blurred out with reverb
Violent Youth for example is Ethan's voice pitched up
>>60872100
thank you. any from their first album or no? I tried to find an article about it but every article was trying to make it seem like she wasnt in the wrong and actually did do all the vocals
Do you purposefully listen to bad music?
On one hand, listening to it will help you understand why people aren't liking it and, if it's the right kind of bad, might give you a good laugh-- or even better, you might actually like it.
But on the other hand, you only have a limited amount of time on this earth, you can only listen to so many albums, so it's probably not wise to spend any of that time listening to bad music. Plus... I mean, it's bad, right? Why would you want to have an unpleasurable experience in the first place?
pic unrelated
I dunno.
Bad is pretty subjective. There are albums that I really love that /mu/ would hate. You'd have to define 'bad' a little better.
>Do you purposefully listen to bad music?
No I never listen to memerap, top 40 pop or indie rock (other than on the radio).
>>60871939
I downloaded and listened to artangels so I could shitpost more effectively about grimes.
