Songs with creepy/stalker-tier lyrics
>Well I’d rather see you dead, little girl
>Than to be with another man
>You better keep your head, little girl

Just about anything this creep sings about
Are these MC Ride lyrics?
Every breath you take and every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take, I'll be watching you
Every single day and every word you say
Every game you play, every night you stay, I'll be watching you
Oh, can't you see you belong to me
How my poor heart aches with every step you take
Every move you make, every vow you break
Every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I'll be watching you
>“The butterscotch lamps along the walls of the tight city square bled upward into the cobalt sky, which seemed as strikingly artificial and perfect as a wizard’s cap.”
So, you guys consider a website that publishes something like this to be the preeminent authority on music?
Lol.
Honestly I have to Google it every time I see this because I'm not sure what's real and what's just memes at this point. But it's real, it's all real and it was written 15 years ago and people still act like pitchfork has any fucking clue what they're doing. And Kid A is one of my favorite albums

Brent the crescendo is a legit really good reviewer. He acknowledges the listening experience as largely abstract and entirely subjective, but still manages to express his thoughts about the music in an eloquent and satisfying way.

AtmoShitter is a legit really good reviewer
Any music out there about ego death?

How come busta rhymes always makes these insane appearances on albums and just dominates everywhere, but he doesn't have a successful solo career of his own? I never see anyone talking about busta rhymes. I mean, listen to his verses on tribe's album, listen to his verses on slum village's album. He's insane, he has original style, he has the most infectious flow. I don't get why he's not more legendary.
His videos are cool.
Maybe his solo stuff is just too much of a good thing.

But he is legendary OP, just can't be fucked to make a record is all

He two okay albums, four great albums, three weak albums, an album I love for nostalgic reasons, and some other shit I haven't listened to yet. My dad hates him, thinks he's "fake country". I enjoy him though.
IF I COULD JUST LEAVE MY BODY FOR THE NIGHT
Never heard the album but I'm from Baltimore so I always hear about them. Are they from here or what? Merriweather Post Pavilion is probably one of the cooler venues I've been to so it's cool they named the album after it.

THEN WE COULD BE DANCING
I've been getting into the grateful dead recently and I love all the songs I've heard. I heard they were best live, what are their essential live albums? are they on spotify? if not I'll find them
>>60873473
Skull and Roses
Europe '72
Live/Dead
You really can't go wrong with these. Good starting places
>>60873596
Thanks, are the songs they play on those albums mostly from their early days? or from everywhere?
>>60873473
>I heard they were best live
Yep. Definitely check out shows from 72, 77, and 89 in addition to the albums listed above. There's a ton on archive.org, but I use relisten.net because it's a much more accessible interface.
>>60873596
>not listing Workingman's Dead or American Beauty
Is it me or is she an autist trying to be some Taylor Swift like figure that fails at this spectacularly and in the process accidentally creates something far more interesting?
I don't know but I just want to hold her and bury my face in her hair and have her tell me that everything isn't going to be so awful anymore
I don't even listen to her music
>>60873460
why do you care about shitty music
