So why these albums are garbage?
W H Y
I've been listening to this record a lot recently and like holy shit it's brilliant why does no one talk about this?
post yfw Katie the Cat owns this board
So has Kid Cudi officially gone insane?
>Half his new album is him doing an impression of Beavis and Butthead
>At one point he just starts breathing into the mic for half an hour
>nothing makes sense
>sounds like it was recorded in a closet

anybody else feeling hyped?
After how goddamn awful their S/T was I'll have to actually hear some music from it before I get hyped.
After how surprisingly good A Dramatic Turn of Events was, I was expected the S/T to be their return to form, instead we got A7X meets Three Days Grace. I think it was the first time I actually felt insulted by an album.
I'm a huge fan of their early works, and even defend their releases after MP2 to the death. However after all the disappoint Prog. releases we've been getting recently I can't bring myself to get hyped.

What good shows have you guys been to recently? Or bad shows? Or shows you're looking forward to? Talk about shows.
I saw Car Seat Headrest last night and that was pretty rad.
This is the only album that can stand toe to toe with Pet Sounds
I have a hard time getting into a lot of /mu/-core, and stuff generally accepted as good around here.
There's some stuff I like yes, but a lot of stuff strikes me as dull and boring.
Am I just listening to it wrong? Could they just not be my thing?
Should I even care?
just don't listen to the whole list, it will soon feel like a chore more than a pleasure. pick your favorite genres and listen to the relative flowcharts and maybe listen to some /mu/core once in a while. remember, those are supposed to be the most discussed albums, not the best
i guess don't think of it as a rule for what you should like
it's more of a starting point for people who know absolutely nothing about music or a reference point for if one wants to expand their tastes. it's a pretty diverse list because it represents a lot of the most popular examples of various genres among /mu/tants
what kind of stuff are you into? i could probably point you in the right direction to find more stuff you're into
Huge prog. metal fan desu.
Starting to really get into mathrock too.
And no, I haven't listened to Converge yet. Their on my to do list
Skaters which turned into TV show makers which turned into musicians.
musicians who were skaters who turned into TV show makers
>inb4 le rap is not le music
There are a bunch of skaters that are also musicians but not all of them went on to make a tv show
Danny Way and Bob Burnquist formed a band called Escalera
Steve Caballero had his band The Faction while he was in The Bones Brigade
Tommy Guerrero is a fantastic solo musician and multi-instrumentalist
Bam sucks as a musician though
You post with these people on /mu/.
