How do you deal with your pleb siblings?
I'd like to disucss music with my wife's son, but all he listens to is hot-topic and warped tour core garbage
anyone else here really fucking hate tagging classical music? if you're a sperg about tags like i am, you probably do too. pic related is usually how i go about things:
[Work title] in [scale if available], [opus number if available]: [roman numeral of piece number followed by a dot] [piece name if available]
but look at this shit:
how would i go about tagging this? do i go with the english localization or somehow work with the original french name? how do you tag classical? someone help?
who influenced your favorite artist?
What is the comfiest album of all time? I ask myself this question often.
V:D:C or You'll Never Know by Sweet Trip. Probably the latter.
Thoughts on him?
I like it, but I find it kind of retarded when he goes "Wooow!" like Michael Jackson cause it sounds like he is just trying to be MJ, when he obviously has his own style. Also what the fuck with that fucking hair man, couldn't even take him serious at first because of that.
when will people start acknowledging that this is his best album?
Instead of trying to rehash his past career as Drukqs seemed to do, Aphex Twin looked ahead and focused on just one style on Syro (Warp, 2014): painstakingly sculpted, multilayered, hyperkinetic, scrambled, burbling, glitchy preludes for chopped vocal samples, fibrillating hyper-polyrhythms and looped eccentricities. His main asset here is the skill in manipulating audio devices, as proven also by the crystal-clear machine sound. His second asset is his passion for deviant harmony. The result is a deliberate contradiction, "songs" such as Minipops 67, 180db_ and Syro...

I was at this show in may and just learned that the band is right now going back in the studio after 18 years, and will release a new album next year, I'm quite madly hyped. probably going to see them again in ten days
>an always classic groove
Any recs based on it?
>what's FRDS5 ?
A compilation. Tried to look for where I got it, but can't seem to find it. I got recommended it by turny though.
Thoughts on this?
its really good. i like that jazzy hip hop is coming back onto the music scene. However, while the tracks may be compelling, i just cant really dig his vocal style. Still i like the album. id say its like a 7/10
"new slaves" was slept on soooo hard just because it was kanye it made it easier to dismiss or make fun of.
but if kendrick made that same song, people would be rioting in the streets, going crazy.
Down to one of two names:
"The Heavy Drugs"
"El Salvador Dollies"
We are an electric mini orchestra, electric violin, bowed upright bass and drums playing weird euro folk tunes and some covers by sun city girls, velvet underground, wire and whatever else catches our fancy.
Don't fail me anon
