someone redpill me on Boris
I saw them live last year and their drummer was totally phoning it in and most of their appeal on an instrumental level comes from odd production and composition choices rather than musical ability. Their first few albums are alright, mainly Akuma no Uta and Amplifier Worship, but Pink and everything after is really bland and lacks soul and the only reason they have such a cult following is that they're weebs with a gorl guitarist.
Why didn't you tell me /mu/?
I just listened to the best electronic record I've heard all year
Wanna talk about it?
>last track builds up to the beginning of the first track
>when looped they titled read "Now I Am" "Become Death"
Would be corny as all hell in most other situations but the album is so fantastic I sort of love it anyways
/mu/ creates a thrash metal song one note/chord at a time
I just found one of the worst, most pretentious guitar players of all time. His name is Derek Bailey. He was apparently a " leading figure in the free improvisation movement". Much be a shitty scene because all he does is hit random strings. Sounds like a 12 year old trying to learn guitar.
more like mac demarco? i love all his shit but i dont know who else to listen to.
How do I get into Joy Division?
>song makes you cry
>you don't know why
i once cried to wolf, really good album to cry too
>there's a club, if you'd like to go
>you could meet somebody who really loves you
>so you go and you stand on your own
>and you leave on your own
>and you go home and you cry and you want to die
I'm gonna get raped so hard by /mu/
So I've listened to pretty much every grunge band, but I was never able to get into Nirvana.
What album should I start with?
This band looks pretty fukken Reddit to me.
I blame vaporwave.
Why do men and women listen to different music?
Same reason native English speakers like to watch dubbed anime rather than subbed.
what are some albums with similar feels?
How do i Eliott smith?
This was the first progressive rock album I ever listened to, and the one which began my interest in discovering new music
This will probably sound idiotic, but before this I had never listened to a good album in full.
Post what your currently reading, other anons share albums that pair well/are similar with it.
Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly & Good Kid, Maad City. In that order. TPAB literally quotes Invisible Man once or twice.
