No shitty bait. Just albums that are genuinely terrible

But that's one of the best mainstream pop albums of the year.
overhyped 2015 edition?
Adele
if that needs to be said
This is the only album I've listened to that I'd consider giving 0/10 to. Realistically it's more like 1/10.
Post some "HOLY SHIT THESE PEOPLE CAN'T PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENTS!!!!" types of albums.

I cannot begin to describe the disdain I have for this sort of music. To be honest, if I focus really hard on the instruments, shut out the vocals and pretend that they were being sung by someone tolerable and with lyrics that aren’t embarrassing, I can potentially see why this isn’t bad. But the truth is that she is there, she is awful, she is unbearably moronic and she does ruin any little bits of skill that the drums or guitars bring in. After one of my friends declared Barnett his “new waifu” I decided to check this out, and after confronting him about this absolute nonsense, he made a comment along the likes of only enjoying it to impress girls at parties. This album is exactly the sort of think that those teenage girls who listen to “indie” as an image or a statement would lap up. They’ll talk about the bad vocals as “dylan-esque”, and will break into singing quotes from the frankly embarrassing lyrics whenever they can, because they’re SO ME XD, snapping up lines like “I want to wash out my head with turpentine cyanide” as if they’re extremely meaningful poetry. And jesus, I haven’t even mentioned the accent. If there was ever a convincing case for a nuke heading right to the middle of Australia’s eastern coast, this is it. An album filled with nonsense psuedo-meaningful ‘indie’ lyricism, complete with an image you’d expect one of those Sundance films advertised as indie (but actually aren’t), mostly forgettable instrumentation and songwriting, and one of the worst voices you’ve ever heard. Is there anything worse?

I love Neil Young. What should I buy next? What are your 10 favorite Young albums? So far I own:
Harvest
Everybody knows this is nowhere
After the gold rush
Zuma
Tonight's the night
On The Beach
Harvest Moon
Rust Never Sleeps
Weld
>>60998648
1. On The Beach
2. Harvest
3. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
4. After The Gold Rush
5. Tonight's The Night
Don't see Neil talked about enough on here. You pretty much already have all the essentials. Live At Massey Hall is incredible of course. I thought Psychedelic Pill was solid in terms of recent Neil Young albums.
His latest life album is really good.

seconding live at massey hall
How many times should one listen to an album before they add it to their collection? At least one full run through? Or maybe listen through unless you really can't stand it? Maybe 2-3 times, which is quite time consuming. What is the rule of thumb for this sort of thing?
what kind of faggot question is this
Man I just buy CDs when I think it'll be good.
listen to it as many times as you like are you autistic

Unsure where about my standing in a girl's emotional life. I'm asking her out on Tuesday, but she's just so aloof I'm not sure if she's that into me. I'm telling myself that she's shy, but I can't be sure.

/mu/ in a nutshell
What's the deal with modern pop? Why is it so depressing?
The appreciation of pop music is social in nature; change in pop music reminds you that you are no longer the cool youth
>>60998311
maybe your just depressed.
>>60998378
>>60998353
Listen to any top 40 song. It will be significantly more downcast than pop is usually thought of as being.
ITT: Artists that contribute nothing of worth to the groups they're in

why does this guy come up literally multiple times a day?
I love this album. Is there any other albums like this you guys recommend?
How about a field recording album called The Sounds of a Rope Wrapping Around Your Neck? It's European.
>>60998099
That sounds a bit depressing for my taste
Anything else more optimistic?
I love that album too, but you're not going to get any answers here. we hate electronic dance music because normies love it.
