>>61073761

Still better than P4ks top 10 but that Dead Weather album is atrociously bad, and I liked their past two.

You have a lot of music I don't recognize, can you share information regarding some of it?
Yes, in this lineup, is the most talented rock band to ever exist. Each member could be argued to be the best player in rock for their instrument and the music was sublime. Prove me wrong
I don't know about Jon Anderson, his vocals annoy me.
Chris Squire on the other hand blew Entwistle, Rutherford, McCartney and whoelse out of the water.
Steve Howe is great, but not the best at the time.
>>61073649
Can't be, because The Beatles exist
>>61073649
>Yes, in this lineup, is the most talented rock band to ever exist.
That lineup was ace but probably not really the most talented rock band to ever exist. These things are hard to prove/quantify.

Are The Tallest Man On Earth's lyrics too cryptic?
>>61073585
Who is
i guess he's not so tall when he's squatting
>>61073585
They don't need to mean anything other than an impressionistic way to define a feeling
You can pick into a general theme in his songs but his individual lyrics focus more on harnessing an image or a feeling relating to that theme rather than linear, straight forward story-telling/'hand holding'
his songs are good and his lyrics don't need to be easily interpreted to be understood on a visceral level
ITT the moment someones career ended.

who's the depressed guy hanging out with fat elijah woods?
Pleb here. How do I get into Jazz?
I enjoy listening to it, want to built a nice collection and knowledge and impress bitches and coworkers.
But where do I start?
http://www.muessentials.com/search/label/Jazz
If you seriously don't have any jazz albums, try Kind of Blue by Miles Davis you pleb.
>The best way of receiving recommendations on /mu/ is by making conversation with people in threads and then just asking what they would recommend. Most people will be willing to drop you a few artists or albums to look up.
>>61073428
Just start lurkin Miles Davis albums and branch out from there. He's worked with everyone worthy of listening too
