Is disliking The Beatles the ultimate sign of a pleb?

No
Liking the Beatles is the ultimate sign of pleb.
>>61118191
>le fact that xD
Feeling anything but indifference toward the beatles is the ultimate sign of pleb
Is she the Bowie of our generation?
damon albarn is
There can be no Bowie of our gen since androgyny is common now.
ST. Vincent loves Bowie and her music kinda sounds like his at points.
Ariel Pink is flamboyant but has nowhere near the fame and he's more reserved too.
Your pic related is nothing like him
Seeing Bowie is coming back in 2016, Bowie is the Bowie of our generation.

No, that's Annie Clark. Grimes is the new Bjork (the playful & quirky Bjork from the 90s, not the pretentious one after that).

lucky you, must've avoided a radio station all your life
>>61118124
not him, but where I live there are no (Classic) Rock Radio stations at all. The only thing played on Radio is Top 40 Pop crap.
Obligatory spaceships are guitars post.
Do any of you guys write reviews, like on a personal blog or on RYM? If so, I'd like to read some of the stuff you guys write. You can read some of my reviews on RYM (https://rateyourmusic.com/~jmarcus42) or link right to my blog where I cover film as well (jmarcus42.wordpress.com). I just want to see what other people are writing about! Pic unrelated.

Your reviews are embarassing and laughably pseudo-intellectual. Delete your reviews, delete your profile, never visit /mu/ again.

Let's have a civilized discussion of TMR.
I think people make it seem like more of a difficult album than it is. Most likely because the first few songs are some of the most chaotic. There are plenty of relatively straightforward songs like Moonlight on Vermont and Sugar and Spikes.
What do you honestly think of TMR or Beefheart in general. Posts including the words "scaruffi", "patrician" or "pleb" will be instantly discarded.
>being afraid of the more experimental tracks
They're literally what makes the album
Fucking pussies

The first time I listened i stared blankly to the wall while the music was played, later I reached veteran day poppies, kinda sounded like a normal song. I didn't like it, even i tried to listen to it multiples times, five or six. People say it's good, but to me was a hobo screaming to a mic.
The only thing that bother's me is, you know, the sax.
I mostly used the Captain's voice as sort of an anchor for a semblance of structure and I had a decently enjoyable experience.
I mean, it's just the blues! It's not like you're listening to Nurse With Wound (though the Captain DID influence NWW a whole lot).
>listens to A Love Supreme once
I fixed the cover guyz
The Epic is just one of those things white people won't ever be able to understand.

the first swans album
How was this album received when it came out?
Pretty poorly, was very underwhelming and felt rushed after the comparable success of Plastic Beach
It was kind of snuck into existence. Not bad. It sounds like it belongs as a B Sides to a Gorillaz B Sides album.
>>61117331
People hated it from what I recall. I didn't think it was anything special.
Demon Days > Gorillaz > Plastic Beach >>>>>>> The Fall
which is better

Need to add Steven Wilson.
True, but what's the point in pointing that out?
